You are showing very little knowledge about gangs, fighting in gangs and fitting for such fights. Using your logic all caldari ships should armor tank. But you're right about t1 guns. Generally whole fit looks really poor, but it's not because it's shield tanking, but because it's simply... poor.

That being said, I do know enough to say with confidence that, if I were a nightmare pilot, I wouldn't rely too heavily on any kind of tank to keep me alive . Oh and I never said he should have armor tanked, just that a sheild tank seems the logical choice.

On missions, it generally is better to use Mega Modulated as opposed to Mega Beams II because of the reduction in cap consumption. And yes, that was a mission running faction battleship. C'mon RAK, improve those damn recruiting standards, don't recruit every n00b that just got into a ship. Again, don't get with he post losses thing, you do not want a sort of "audit" of your posted losses. :) As a corp i wouldn't be surprised if you had more losses unposted than some of the 3000+ alliances. :) Rifter is not X-Wing CCP. Per the efficiency, its 80 percent on RAK killboard meaning that is accurate, and about 50% of that is one kill, (not taking away from the kill it is a nice kill). If you call 30 kills in 10 days nice then so be it it is nice, I don't count pod kills, never have, never will. Sure i read Dev stuff, but cant say that changing a nightmare to a shield tank really stuck in my memory, i guess is cos im not the kind of carebear to fly one so its mainly useless info to me.
