was just curious if anyone would consider lower quality graphics/less colours and in game scenery if it meant you were guaranteed high fps and generally faster game play.
hell even if it was just black n white, lol

You've never been in a 100+ fleet fight I presume. Turning down everything detail related and playing zoomed out is pretty common (atleast used to be pre-trinity).
Either you are for or against us, there simply is no other way |

dont get me wrong it wasnt meant as a whine,, my apologise if it seems that way,
and yes im playing the " classic" version now 
as i said i was curious, if anyone would use a stripped down version to play with instead of an all singing and dancing version,, IF,, it gave better actual game play
and yeah ive done fleet battles and played with as much turned off/down as poss and zoom right out,,
wouldnt the option of that being avaliable as default be nicer for pvp?

Sod it - make Eve wire frame just for the old school of it!
Still wouldnt fix lag though
