I have never had any problems with eve before the patch, but now i can not enter eve.
The instalation went smoothly and i can start the game, log in and get to the character interface. But when i try to log in any of my 3 characters the loading will stop after a few sec and after some min the game crash becaus "eve.exe have run into some problems".
I have looked through the forums and i can only find one described problem that can fit mine. That is a stuck character. But i doubt that since i can't log any of my 3 characters. However the solution for a stuck character is to file a petition which i have done over 3 days ago concerning my problem and still not got any awnser.
So now i turn to u guys at this forum and wonder if u might know what i shall do. I have reinstalled the game mulitple times, both classic and the premium one and still the same problem occurs.Hope you have some idees becaus i'm stuck...

/signed, i have the same problem too, i can get to the character selection screen, and select one, but the loading just stops at "entering game as <name>.."
please help, my current skill has almost finished training time!

unfortunatly my skill i had in training was compleated 3 days ago but that i can care less about. I just want to be able to play the game.

I'm having the exact same problem with the Eve exe file crashing after loading bulk data since doing this Trinity Update.
The boot.ini file is still there so that's not related and I did do that premium download but it was around 2am EST (GMT -5) since I don't have to go to work till later today, but the game just won't stop crashing.

I've got the same problem. Eve was running fine until the update now it wont load any of my characters. I've tried using different setting, clearing cache and updating drivers, still nothing. I'm not sure if it's related but EveMon now shows that I have -2bil skill point  . I have petitioned and am still waiting for a reply.
Here's hoping that CCP can sort this out, I've now lost over 30hours skill training time, but more importantly I've got things to sell for others.
Any ideas would be very appreciated. Thanks for hearing me out.
