I didn't bother reading past the first page yet because im sure this has turned into an EPIC smack thread, but in any case, MANY alliances have either taken space on their own or with allies. A personal example is SMASHKILL, had nothing but now have mutliple regions as a coalition, enduring nearly 1.5 years of CONSTANT onslaught from alliance/corp xyz trying to evict and/or cripple us.

Rise on the other hand PAID for space, hand over fist i might add (which i suppose on one hand is worth saluting that anyone has that much isk to pay for space, but worth crying about on the other hand because they paid to be a meatshield in the most unstable area in EVE...which is just stupidity thanks to their leadership) Its the equivalent of the intellectual prowess of an Islamic leader in the middle east convincing his community to suicide bomb the west.

K/D Ratios mean nothing if you cant HOLD your space... and especially if you have no part in taking it in the first place. Despite the fact that RISE K/D's aren't that great to begin with, considering their "legendary" allies, those k'ds mean even less because they've managed to hold onto ZERO space. Even after paying at least a Titan's worth of isk to their landlords, the leadership is still too ignorant to realize theyre on the wrong side, meanwhile anyone who has allied themselves with RedSwarm, has only seen reward. In fact in the past two years not a single entity that has allied themselves with BoB has seen a reward of any kind. Hell even look at the new MC and FIX boundries on the influence map... formed up as a line of defense for BoB, a meatshield for lack of a better description of ANY kind. MC is a mercenary alliance indeed proving even to this day that despite being what i would describe as one of eve's strongest forces, because of leadership subjugating themselves to the role of a meatshield for a sub par and overrated alliance.

Although perhaps calling them underrated isn't fitting considering they can convince very formidable alliances to believe that theyre worth sacrificing isk, ships, and space for on a constant basis. And if you want to talk further about alliances taking and keeping space on their own, look at Triumvirate... compared to INFOD and Euphoria Released, Infod and ER both great pvp'ers, have managed to keep/take ZERO space, TRI on the other hand have taken a butload of space, or Razor for example, a "dead" alliance much like my own, have more space now than ever before.

Eve is not about kills, its about space, and Rise has none... Anyone that knows anything about finance knows about the "bottom line" and Rise hasn't a positive one.
