Do you have an ATI card? A while ago I got the same problem, white backgrounds and heavy lag if I had two client undocked. I thought it was my card, since other games behaved strangely as well.

nVidia Geforce 7600GS.
Only happens to the second client (i.e the one that logs in last) and the first client is 100% uneffected.
Doesnt happen when the said client logs in when undocked from a station (or at least didnt happen last night when he was undocked)
Gonna try a cache clear, would say it can't hurt but murphis law and all.

I've got one of those and not having this problem so it isn't the card. Have you tried changing the graphics cache settings? You will probably need to reduce them to run two accounts unless you have an enormous amount of RAM. Details here.

I used to get that in Rev2 using two clients, only way I could fix it was run one client fullscreen and one windowed. Haven't tried running 2 clients under Trinity yet. --

Edited by: Dred''Pirate Jesus on 08/12/2007 06:41:41 I was getting that problem on SISI right before I upgraded to my new trinity enabled rig but now that I'm on current hardware it went away.. Guess trinity needs a bit more polish for slightly older but supposedly compatible rigs..

Multiple clients are hit and miss atm from all the forum feedback I've seen.. I have no issues running 4 at once but then again I'm on a pretty high end rig so I might be a bit biased system wise..

1. Use a proper driver-remover software, that clears the registry + everything regarding your drivers from your computer. 2. Reboot. 3. Install the Novemer patch of DirectX (latest). 4. Reboot. 5. Install the latest Forceware. Configure it for performance. 6. Clear all Cache in EVE. 7. Try playing again.

I too have a 7600 gs with two clients. I have no white but it hiccups using the advanced graphics package, 2-3 second pauses then fine for 15 seconds then again.
I use eve launcher for running two clients and it makes a huge fracking difference.
Tobias, I thank you for your advice... I'm gonna try it. my worry is that if I remove the driver for my card... how can i get a screen to show up to install a dx driver and card drivers? If the driver is removed won't the display fail???
I'm from the school of if it worked ok out of the box... don't touch it cause it will never go back to good, only worse. I have no confidence doing what you suggest as it seems to have alot of "use common sense" in between some of your directions. Lil help anyone?
Anyone have good settings for the 7600 gs??? AA? blah blah x to the hizzo and the like.
Namaste, GuruJ
