Started a few days ago and so far all ive been doing is agent missions. Decided to look for a corp because its boring being solo all the time.
Anyway im trying to build a fighter character for anything that involves fighting and not so much mining.
Looking for a corp with mature people in it. I dont want to play with Leet Pwnzor Daddies or anything like that.
So if anyone is recruiting plz post and give me some info. thx. --------------------------------------------------------- "It's all for nothing if you don't have freedom"

Check with the Old Farts. Great group and all around mature class act. The guys will go to great lengths to help you out.
Re:PVP/Fighting skills. I know they have backed down from the pvp atm, but could always use the fighting guys to help them out with riskier mining ops. However, if merely training fighting to go pvp, I would check with MASS, Omega, Everlasting Vendetta, Hooded Monks. Good group of guys with very little l33t sp34k.

Edited by: Lysender on 11/03/2004 00:15:38 I would have to agree with Celticjim. Old Farts is a nice corperation to join. I was apart of the old farts way back when. They're really a nice sort of guys to be around. Does Greyhound still play Celticjim?
If you don't like Old Farts then try Cold Fusion. Talk to Fuse or Zedone.

Nighthawks are currently recruiting 2 more people. We are a starter up corp with currently 4 specialised Members in Mining / Hauling / Research / Production and Combat, with a good background knowledge of the game and a solid Backbone of Offices, Research Labs, Factories and of course Blueprints and Equipment. We are able to outfit you with Ships and Equipment and alot of tips and tricks to guide you to your first weeks in Eve. This doesent mean we give out everything for free, but we are able to provide you with everything you will need, as long as you are willing to work together with us and contribute to the Corp. We are operating in the Khanid Region within the Empyerian Federation wich we can count as our allies and tradepartners. If you want to know more, contact Kesh McCall via Evemail or join our Channel : Nighthawks for more info. Or Visit our Boards: Nighthawks

Just want the game to be a little more fun.
I will try find out some info on the corps everyone has suggested though. Thanks for the tips.

Hi Rycheck,
Please contact either myself or spaceman in-game, if we don't contact you first, if you're in the GMT timezone. We're currently building from the ground up with a number of experienced players helping out new comers to the game, such as yourself. We pay you for everything you do, so you don't need to worry about not achieving what you're worth, and are looking to build a tactical force that can hunt player pirates in the less safe systems of Empire space.
Upon contact we'll give you some more details, including how old our oldest member (grandpa) is :)
If not, then best of luck to you!

I'm looking for fighters. Only North American timezones though (unless you keep odd hours).
Small PvP corp with lots of experience. We could teach you quite a bit. Contact me in game if interested.

Rycheck, the first thing you should look for in a corperation is staying power. How Mature the members are and how many members they have to help you in the beginning. What advice they can give you. Ask around before you join any corperation.
Old Farts has been around for a while. When I was in old farts their whole membership workshop is centerned around it's members. I would give them a try before any other faction. They helped me out a great deal. I would recommend them to anyone that wants to be apart of mature group of players. I was the youngest at 28 years old when I was with them. Their oldest member was 48.

Edited by: Celticjim on 11/03/2004 05:21:39 I should probably add an addendum to my post. I am no longer with the OF because of anything in particalur other than irl has kicked me in the ass.
I still talk to the guys all the time, and other than Seborian checking the boards in his whitie's still a great group.
Cheers CJ
(edit) - Lysender..no..unfortunately Grey the orig is no longer around. IRL took him away from the game, but I can still pass on a message if you would like.
