The changes to my beloved strip miners really cut me deep... More so than I expected. I miss the sheer power and awesomeness of the vvssssssss!!!! vvssssssss!!! Infact I miss it so much I will pry just go back to classic.
Some people say I enjoy mining too much. Guess I have proved them right....

The 74% rise in whiner posts that are a direct result of the Trinity expansion. I wish they'd roll it back, just to silence all the raging *****fests.

I am afraid that in your ignorance, you are assuming that all "whiners" came from WOW in the first place. This is not the case. Please check your facts before posting.
My list:
1) Overview can't quite be used as it was before
2) Window pinning (to get transparent windows) doesn't quite work as before
3) Drone changes - specifically removing drones rather than high slots, drones still forgetting targets (not a change, but something which I'm sure they announced would be fixed - yes, I know there's a workaround, but that's not the point), drone tabs opening and closing by themselves
4) Boot.ini - didn't affect me, but what a blunder! How that wasn't spotted in testing, I'll never know.
5) That bright star thing - /me needs explanation

No FSAA unless you use some 3d party hacking and then only in fullscreen mode.
FSAA is MUCH more important than HDR and Bloom. Even in high res the EVE universe realy need at least 4x AA or your eyes will go sore from all the jaggies.

Nerf mineral compression. That said, 100m¦ modules were placeholders and not re-adjusted, if you find any, bug report them.

I agree with your point 3. I'm not a big fan of the full splash screen.
Also, in regards to the cloaking/decloaking effects - They drive me nuts. There was something nice/natural about the shimmering in/out effect of the old verson. This new one seems so "artificial" (Yes, I laughed when I typed that)
Over all though, the ships look very good. I really can't wait for space and planet updates

My most disliked gameplay change in Trinity is, well, Trinity. I can't really think of a single gameplay change that makes me think "Good idea!". So many unnecessary changes. I guess Zulupark had to make all those changes to look busy and justify his salary.
The improved graphics, and performance, were definitely needed. Though that would have gone better if the patch installer nuked "%APP_PATH%\boot.ini" instead of "\boot.ini". |

You know, no one is making you read all these whines. patches comes with bugs, if you have played any MMOG you should know this, whining about the changes doesnt do anything, if you cant handle this...QUIT!!!

The change I dislike the most is that Trinity can make my computer to freeze up and give me a black screen, rebooting doesn't help. "Use last setting that worked" when starting Windows works sometimes. ATM Windows in safe mode is where I feel the love.

I have not read one set of posts praising the changes that happened to the game with the latest patch. I am personally not impressed by the fact that I need to upgrade my computer to use the latest graphics. I dont recall reading anywhere that we should get new computers to use the new graphics.
The game developers have decided to nerf several items that players did not feel that should have been changed and in the process made changes that cause serious harms to the computers of their customers.
My opinion is that we are seeing here the symptoms of the "SWG syndrone" The developers dont listen to the players, make changes that reduce the quality of the gameplay and actually cause damages to their customers computers.
I dont see any benefit to this latest set of changes. They have made it more difficult to navigate the game, to log in, to use more than one account, and also caused players to lose implants and have damaged computers. This is not the way to go with eve and turning a deaf ear to your players/customers will not have a good outcome for this game~!!!

- Loot size changes, should have affected mineral output at reprocessing not in m3 size itself.
- No mining animations, fires once and does not repeat for mining cycle.
- No animations of drones firing.
- Models for sentry drones missing, also no firing animations.
- Enemy names flashing occasionally for no reason during missions.

I just went through Jita, the video lag from warping into a crowded gate makes me glad I don't do fleet battles anymore.

anyway, on a more serious note, I love all the changes, except:
The bugs!!!
New look for mining barges (they look to clean and regular)
New mining laser effect (makes mining more boring)
And BTW, I'm a PvP character
