Angelus Custos Deep Core Mining Inc.	Posted - 2007.12.08 10:21:00 - [1] I run two accounts at the same time, and want different resolutions as well as other graphics settings on each account. With premium content I want everything on high on the large screen, and everything off on the small alt screen However, when I close both clients and restart them, they both have all the graphics settings of whatever client I closed last. I bug reported it but it's apparently unreproduceable. Is anyone else getting this to work and if so how? Is there a workaraound?

Start 2+ EVE clients. Set graphics options for each client, I have two graphics cards and 2 monitors. Log off/close EVE clients. Restart 2 EVE clients, all options are the same as the last client started on last EVE session. I suspect that the AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\settings\prefs.ini is shared.

I suspect that the AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\settings\prefs.ini is shared. yup thats the problem do two installs of eve and add /end /lua:off to the target shortcuts so the cache stays in each clients install directory and problem should be solved.

Ensocopier	Posted - 2007.12.08 11:57:00 - [7] I renamed the CCP folder located in AppData\local\ and it seems that the settings are staying by adding '/LUA:OFF /END' to each shortcut. /end /lua:off didn't seem to work for me, but thanks to all for pointers in the right direction.

Posted - 2007.12.09 18:32:00 - [12] I still havent found a single player who manage to get this to work, yet my bugreport have been dismissed twice with unreproduceable statements. I wish they could be more informative. Is it fixed internally and thats why they can't reproduce it? Is it design? Does anyone get this to work appart from Q&A? And can't they share their secrets on how they do it?

Angelus Custos Deep Core Mining Inc.	Posted - 2007.12.09 19:52:00 - [15] Ouch, well I can change them as I want, it's just the resetting that gets tiresome. The settings are saved on exit, and loaded before you get a chance to log in compared to before when they were applied after logging in.

Make a shortcut with the added /end /LUA:OFF after target link. Start both the exe directly, and the shortcut. One will use local settings, one global. One install, 2 settings.

I didn't need to do this with my previous double install prior to Trinity - I just ran two installs regardless. Now I run two installs and have to put extra switches into command lines. I thought this was going to be fixed. Put the command switches outside the quotes, at the end of the line. It should work.
