I'm sorry if this may have been asked before.
My problem is this.
With the old client, i could run eve in windowed mode.
Where the eve window was 1024 x 768, while my desktop resolution was 1280 x 1024.
This gave me a nice smaller window for the client.
Since trinity I can only seem to run windowed mode at the same resolution as my Desktop resolution.
So windowed mode covers my whole desktop.
Does anyone know a solution to this?

What exactly is the problem. Are you simply not given the option to select a smaller resolution? And can you give some hardware specifications if the answer is yes?

Video card is a 8800 GTS 320 MB.
In fullscreen mode I can choose many diferent resolutions.
In windowed mode I have no options to choose a smaller resolution.

Umm... Yes there is...
switch to window mode, then in the same column as the window option is an option for changing resolution.

That is the problem I have.
When I do switch to windowed mode, the only option I have in the Window size menu is 1280*1024. Which is my desktop resolution, I have no other options.

That's really odd and I can't reproduce the problem. I also run in a window. My window setting is 1152x864 (and I have a full complement of choices in the settings screen) but if I press Alt-Enter, EVE resizes to 1280x1024 which is my desktop resolution.
In full-screen mode, try setting 1024x768 and then press Alt-Enter to get into a window. Maybe that'll stick without screwing up your desktop res.

Raaki,
I'm running 8600 GT's x 2, and certainly with the latest NVIDIA drivers I have the option for window sizes from 1024x768 up to 1280x1024, with a few in between.
Dunno how you did things, but I un-installed classic, and then downloaded the full premium client, and re-installed.
Duplicated that twice for multiple clients, and they all run as per instruction.
If you patched your client rather than clean install, want to give that a go ?

I have fixed it.
I swapped to a lower resolution Full Screen 1024*768
Then hit my Left Alt + enter key, and it windowed at 1024*768
Nice.
Now when I hit Right Alt + enter, it switches to full screen 1280*1024 which is my desktop res.
And Left Alt + enter switches between Full screen and windowed 1024*768.
