Heya, thanks for reading this guys.
Short question: In the THEORETICAL case, if i made myself a lighter with, ehhh, lets say an eve online logo on it, would it be copyright infringement (sp?). And can i get legal problems?
1. The theoretical nonexistent item would be made only for my needs, and would not be sold.
2. What about, lets say...corporate logos? |

You would be best off firing off a petition to customer support to check with them. CCP is usually fine so long as it isn't for selling.

not unless you're saying the logo design was your own and attempting to profit off of it, or say advertise something else... On a lighter though who the hell is going to know?...Unless you plan on selling said lighter/s. |

No, you won't get in trouble, just like the others said. I suppose if your use of the logo made CCP look bad they could send you a nastygram, but as long as you're not an idiot it'll be fine. If anything it's free PR.
If this kind of thing wasn't OK then lots of people would be in trouble, me included. |

Wrote a support ticket, though.
I tried etching, and failed bad, so no screenshot. If i manage to get a nice engraving (sp), ill post it here.
PS: Any of you guys have some more stuff like defilers travel cart? If this is the case, maybe you can post it here for me to envy? ^^ |
