I can't play Eve with the Premium version, since there is a graphics bug which turns all ships and stations just plain white (more about that here). CCP did not bother to comment on that yet, but I hope that this will be solved with the standard one-week-later bugfix patch.
Till then, I would try to use the Classic client, hoping that this bug does not occur there. But, how do I downgrade from Premium to Classic?

Just go to graphics options and disable the Premium content.

Turn off premium content in the graphics options.

From what I've read, a graphics driver update fixes the white object bug.

Have you tried to update your videocard drivers? might help with the "ships looking white" thing.

I had the exact same problem my self (stations, ships and gates being all white in space).
I just installed the latest drivers fron Nvidia (remeber to delete old drivers first). After that the game worked as it should.
