Ok so ive been playing around with abbadon setups and my newest setup which is a bit of a steal from the neutron and plate megathron (40k+ armor and dmg). My only worry is that i think its too dependant on cap and cap boosters which the megathron isnt.
highs: mix of dual and mega pulse lasers II meds: cap booster, 100mn mwd, web, scrambler lows: large armor rep II, 2 heat sinks II, 1 energized adaptive nano II, 3 1600mm plates rigs: kinetic rig, explosive rig, armor hitpoints rig
It gives 61%+ armor resistance, 30k armor, good speed and dmg with guns but is fairly cap dependant. Opinions and advice appreciated.

Because it uses Lasers without having a bonus to reduce their cap needs, the Abaddon will always need cap boosters or an insane amount of cap rechargers and the like. That said, it's a pretty mean boat. I think the most common idea with it at the moment is 8 Mega Pulse II's and a fully passive armour buffer tank with no reppers and high resists. Probably a few heatsinks in there too. It has surprisingly good survivability and you can concentrate your strained cap into firing the guns without having to worry about reppers.

Well ive only got 1 repper and it would also probs be used mostly for repping after fights or when desperately in need. But i didnt see the point in getting more resistance cause if i put more energized adaptives they hardly work (except the first 2 or somat). This setup combines dmg, armor and resistance. Thought it should work quite well.

Drop the repper and fit a dcu2. Replace the rigs with trimark rigs. Fit a full rack of megapulse IIs.

Passive gank:
8x MP mwd, scram, web, heavy injector 3x 1600s, eanm, dc, 2x heatsink 3x trimarks
If your gonna fit a rep, might as well do it properly and dual rep tank it without all the plates.

It's all about Tachyons on an Abaddon believe me. Train up advanced weapon upgrades, add a powergrid rig and throw on 8 tachyon II's. The ability to hit over 60k with blood multifreq crystals is an option you want available to you as pulses are too short range IMO. Sure they are good some of the time, but not every engagement starts at less than 20km.
Abaddon is capable of outputting mega damage, try producing a dps setup rather than a tank setup and you will be surprised how effective they can be.

2x injector, for? u don't have active tank, then u dont need 2 cap injector, juste one is enought :)

Mega Pulse II + scorch = + 40km optimal + 10km falloff, u can have a tank and dps with mega pulse II (3 heat sink)

This but with a third heat sink instead of the eanm.

Basically, the popular Abaddon setups are full up on Megapulse IIs and a passive (plates) tank. So, see above.
