you need to install two clients in different directories and add the /end /lua:off switches to your shortcuts so they dont share the cache and settings folders.

Or what you do is launch the first client under the graphics settings that you want for it, then change the graphics settings to how you want it for the second client. When you change the graphics settings, it will ask you if you want to restart the client: say no. Now when you start the second client it will start with those graphics settings while your current client continues to run with the graphics level that you started it with.

You would need to do this every time... Using the extra disk space to install a second client and add the "/end /lua:off" thing is a lot easier, and supposedly better? I just run both clients the same, so I don't really have an issue with trying to run them with different settings. ____________________ Hi. I'm not an alt :)

There's another solution that I use:
1. Create another user account on your computer. 2. Make a copy of the eve shortcut and change it to this: C:\WINDOWS\system32\runas.exe /user:<<put your new username here>> "C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\eve.exe" 3. Run account #1 on the original shortcut. Run account #2 on the new one. It will prompt you for a password if you set one up for the user.

ccp, fixit, please .. it's kind of annoying multiple installs/different users, it's all workarounds, not solutions

So it would be "C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\eve.exe /end /lua:off"? And what happens now that they dont share a cache and settings folder? Will it just not save one, or will it make a new folder for both installs?
thanks :)

Works for me exactly the same as it did before. I usually run one account on each screen which are difference sized monitors. I havn't noticed this issue at all.
