Edited by: Rachel Vend on 11/12/2007 19:09:44 Try lowering your bid/reserve to more realistic expectations and just maybe you might get some bids.
I really doubt it cost you 1.3 billion ISK to produce that BPC, I'm sure there is an element of greed in that price.

If only half of the so called experts would bother doing some calculations instead of giving advice to everyone but those who need it...
Assuming chance of success for freighters is the same as for battleships and everything else before Trinity, and a BPC cost of 200m (and that's low, considering the price some of them go), those copies the guy is selling cost him just over 1.25b to invent.
If the chance of success is 50% (somehow I doubt it though), then the BPCs still cost about 650m, so his price isn't that high, considering he is selling one of the first available.
Free bump and I'm glad I'm not inventing or building those.

Thank you for both the comments...
The first very negative and without any knowledge, but probably symptomatic of the lack of interest.
The second right on the money/isk! Thank you.
These are PE0, so build the fastest, but the price of T2 components is very high.
I think they're worth the Reserve.
I only run open and honest autions - nothing hidden and no silly reserves above start.
Feel free if you want them.

Genuinely surprised, but we'll see.
Converted to simple sale - do believe they are worth it.

Do we know the actual build cost based on he ME of your BPCs by chance? Quite honestly I don't know if I can afford to build one if I consider buying one LOL

A very reasonable question.
I hadn't posted the building requirements as I knew that anyone who had looked at would be able to calculate easily....but here they are:
AnsharME -3 Morphite3500 Obelisk 1 Capital Jump Engines28
R.A.M. R.A.M. Starship Engineering40
Construction Components Capital Crystalline Carbonide Armor Plate1418 Capital Fusion Reactor Unit725 Capital Ion Thruster591 Capital Magnetometric Sensor Cluster620 Capital Oscillator Capacitor Unit986 Capital Photon Microprocessor986 Capital Pulse Shield Emitter629
General Construction Blocks2100
The whole thing really revolves around the cost of the T2 building blocks - which have spiked. You can do your own sums, but the last I looked we're up at about 4bil total (incl Obelisk).
I hoped these 2 would have been popular as they could have been built fastest (PE0), but that time has now gone - the future ones I will invent will use the high ME decyptors, but will take longer to build.

His price is good, but they DO NOT build the fastest. ME-2 PE +1 Anshar BPC's are on the market. Regardless, to all the naysayers, his price and product are in line.
