I see that the Rifter, Punisher and Incursus all have 3 turret hardpoints. Do any of these have the capability to mount 3 mining lasers?

Theoretically: might be, if you have maxed ouot skills.
practically: don't think any of them can. Imicus and Probe are considered the two best mining frigates, mostly because of their large cargoholds. Both can fit two miners.
btw, you dont look like Christina, bit dissapointing i must say, but nice nonetheless

Check out the Elite mining frigs in EVE-DB and then check out the T2 DCM made for the elite mining frigs...
2 120m3/min lasers chewing up ore and the have a 600 space cargo hold(amarr one) with 6 low slots. Tell me these little buggers aren't going to be mining fools.

Is the problem CPU or Grid thats the problem? its been that long since I used lasers tbh I can't remember 
If its grid you could possibly whack in some micro auxillary power cores.
If its CPU, your on your own m8

Well 3 miner1s shouldnt be a problem, or named versions (Use less CPU). Whack up your electronics skill first to give your ship more computer power.
better yet, just hope they release auxillery Computers.

As it is currently they can fit 2 T2 DCM, but they don't got enough cap to even activate one of them :D

LOL so true, all I knew is that those Elite mining frigates were meant for the T2 DCM, dunno why they can't power them.

the mining frigates will probly have an awesome bonus for capaciter or mining laser cap use so they can actually power one..
still no ones gonna spend 15 million for a mining frigate when they can buy a thorax for 6 million or go overboard and buy an armageddon. we need mining ships, cruiser sized with cruiser turret points. CCP is just giving us shiney new toys to waste our time on with these lil frigates

It is possible to run 3 mining lasers from all of these, but not miner 2's. You will run up against cpu problems, but Electronics 5 and some good coprocessors can sort it out
Not 100% sure about the rifter. I know the other two will do it because i have used both of them like that.

Incursus can mount 3 EPS-Gaussian. Need at least Electronics IV and 1 or 2 co-proc depending on the type.

Punisher is a good mining frigate due to the number of low slots for CPU mods/cap power relays.

my maller has 5 lasers on it a mixture of miner 2 and miner 1's.
alittle cpu boosters and it a'ok and has crusie control! and a
good stereo! but really maller has small cargo but still a good mining ship for a crusier. no drones.....=( for a cruiser
my punisher i had to boost cpu lik ecrazy to get three on but never did my electronics were low at the time. but punisher is a quick miner.
 i am a mining fool!

you can fit 2 miner 2s on a maulus no problem. if you have a larger cargo hold ship hauling for you then this is a good mining frig

Unfortunately, the frigates with 3 turrets have low CPU (125 base). With Electronics 5 and 4 Co-Processor 2s a Punisher can't quite get the 240 CPU needed for 3 Miner 2s.
You CAN mount 3 Cu Vapors on a Punisher (using a couple Co-Processor 2s), but the 147 base ore/min that gives you isn't really that much better than the 120 from 2 Miner 2s, and Miner 2s are a lot easier to find. Plus you can use something with a LOT more cargo like an Incursus or a Probe (though the Probe will need good skills to fit 2 Miner 2s).
Or do what I did... get a Punisher, go out in 0.6-0.8 belts, and shoot NPCs until you can afford a cruiser...

I would go with an Incursus as you can fit 3 miner 1's or XeCL's and use your 100m3 drone bay for a hammerhead for protection in lower security (0.8-0.7) for solo mining.

I would go with an Imicus for solo mining. It has a nice cargohold. Can mount 2 Miner 2's with limited skills and It has 250m3 of drone space so you can use 2 hammerheads for protection and another mining drone to speed things up. As far as the skills needed you would need: Drones at level 3. Scout Drones at Level 1 and Minning Drones at level 1. You may also want to get Engineering and Electronics to boost up the CPU and Powergrid. You need Mining 2 or higher to hook up Miner2's to your ship.
