I use a Nvidia FX4600 here at work.
Even in windowed mode with EVE minimized, the entire screen flickers like clockwork about once every 2 seconds. I have dual display with extended desktop, only the screen that EVE loaded up on will flicker.
Brand new comp, latest drivers, etc...
Dual Xeon X5355
8 GB ram
Quadro FX4600
Same problem at home on my Quadro FX3400.
I have not tried premium on my ATI X1800XT yet.
Just wondering if this is a CAD card specific problem...

same here with a geforec 7600
alot of other poeple i know hav it aswell somtimes session change fixes it or switching the z buffer
its highly annoying
the new graphics look nice but thats about it the rest is very poor show by ccp
im runnign classic again

Can you please submit a bug report that includes DxDiag.
We've been able to repro this internally, but we want to see how many types of systems this is effecting to ensure a fix would work for everyone.

I have a similar box and have no problems. Have you tried getting the latest drivers?

latest driver did not work out for me, sent bug report with dxdiag. hope you will find the bug soon. happy hunting.

i have the problem too. 7600GT here.
it doesnt happen always, just sometimes when theres alot going on on the screen, it suddenly starts.
i also noticed that when it happens, theres always an object in space selected. It's like you move your mouse to a planet in the overview, then the description of it appears in space and is overlapping with that one of the overview, and mouse is switching rapidly between the overview text and the space text. this happend before trinity, but now it doesnt seem to stop when you move the mouse away, and the camera position is affected to by it, which is causing the flickering imo.
hoope this gets fixed soon. as its pretty annoying and hurts my eyes.

Classic makes my laptop screen flicker :(
It used to do it a *little* prior to the patch, now it does it heaps.
Oh well, that's why this is a work laptop with a hot CPU and 2 gig ram but no graphics card (save standard onboard gfx)

Ok, I did not have the latest Nvidia driver. Apparently they released one in November.
The screen flicker goes away, but when I have EVE minimized, and I'm either in AutoCad or my 3D modeling software, it screws with the graphics of those programs... Makes them flicker and act "chunky" Classic does not affect them...
I can't have EVE minimized in the backround at work anymore!

6600 too and i have had it.
