V2 has arrived after months of hard work by the Eve-I admin team and especially Dancer
Please go check it out!!!
Once beta is finished and all the new features are in. We will look to have an official relaunch with all the trimmings!!
Here is Dancer's news;

This night we finally released the very first EVE-I V2 site. Yes, some content stuff is missing as the content is currently looked at and some features are currently deactivated. Please expect them to come back one by one shortly.
Having to run two EVE-I sites on the same server caused quite some trouble, plus I got like a dozen mails per day regarding bugs or typos or small glitches that have been fixed in V2 already, so we decided to switch to V2 rather earlier than not - I want to see how it performs over the weekend. If something "bad" happens, we can switch back within 2-3 minutes.
Please note that orange will have to be your favorite color until I finish the user interface for complete color changing, the bigger part of the system is already in. Please also note that all the tabs and even bars can be in- and deflated by registered users and you will have to hide a bar if you still use a resolution of 1024 on certain subpages. Other pages will auto-hide the right bar regardless of your settings (e.g. the Forum).
Well, please enjoy the reworked site and expect some (rather) fast changes now as things will get a lot easier for the developers to implement. Thanks to so many of you for countless mails, hints, ideas and bug-kills - it's really fun to code for this community because so many people contribute! :)

A question about the functionality tho - when do you expect to have back online tools as such as the dev post finder and the ship explorer?

Dev Post Finder and Server watcher should both be back in the next day or two afaik. The Ship DB is waiting to be manually updated and shoul dbe done in a week or so.

I'm playing eve since beta 4 and ev-i is the site i am following (not as Ferina) since launch.
It's my Nr 1 Fansite and it's even better now!
