I think most of them are cosmosmissions / new mining missions / lvl1-3 missions, from what i heard there are only 1-3 new lvl 4s and some revamped lvl4s which can be seen as "new" missions (if a mission for example has 13bs rats instead of 12 it's not the old mission anymore).

Currently a LvL 3 Guristas Extravaganza atm Deadspace mission with multiple jumps.
Guess whats inside the mission ? Answer : Guirstas Control Tower With a Shield around it & the next gate is inside the Pos Shield.
After me swearing for abit. Turns out u can pop the emp shield very easy

Why cant they use that creativity for lv 4 missions?
In fact, I wouldn't mind a lv 4 mission that looks like some sort of faction rat fleet war vs your one little ship that includes pos'es and EM shields and what not.
I just hope CCP adds more (or already did but waiting to add it) flavors of creative natures to the lv 4 missions for all 4 races...

I think this is because missions don't have a high priority for ccp, missionrunning is only a side nieche activity. Pvp and 0.0 warfare is where the dev focus their creativity, missions are only there to make isk to buy ships for pvp.

Which, if true, is idiotic, because pvp and 0.0 warfare are practiced by a small minority of players.

I know there are at least 5 new l4 (5 part line) with some nice new ideas and some not so nice new bugs.

My friend, this is EVE, as it's a space oriented game, they couldn't have trolls. We have Caldari.

The hundreds of new missions got pushed back to next patch. This patch they introduced hundreds of new bugs instead.

i have to agree ccp wants ppl to pvp in 0.0 it is what they smugly call "the end game" it really ****es them off that most of us pve and trade more than pvp.i for one refuse to go to 0.0 and will quit b4 i do.i aslo love the way they totaly ignor all the hate mail about the nerfs and graphic bugs that they have made. 100s of new missions my sweet candied a**

For a L-3 Q+16 Astrosurvey agent. I did 6 missions the week before Trinity. 2 were courier, 4 were kill.
Since Trinity I did 7 before my first New mining mission. 2 were courier, 5 were kill.
"Pile of Pithix" Pithix (sister ore of Jaspet) worthless = untradable on open market. After the rats the mission holds 1 Pithix roid of the exact 4500 units needed. 433,000 pay 382,000 bonus 1028 LP was fair for about 20 minutes of L-3 work, idk. BUT Not even 1 unit extra to keep with my other Rat-Pack-Loot stock as a sovenir ? And no other 'real' roids except a few small Veldspar and the new mixed drone loot. [insert rant and nasty words here] There is more real ore in kill missions like "The Score" and "Rouge Slave Traders" !

After two years in Eve I'd say you may have just said what I did not want to think. Yea, I saw CCP's style is different than the USA method to focus appeal and mass produce, but actually Anti-PvE ? Dang.
I find myself searching the game sites and mags monthly for are new Space-MMOG, a sim-city or transportation-tycoon MMOG, a replacement for EVE.
Maybe reverse psych will help. My Dear CCP:
1) Do Not implement any clever AI into missions, just write more fiction, or do T-2 ships that require 3+ years of skills to fly and a whole corporation of ISK to build or buy.
As is I use the same BS and weapons in every L-3 kill mission, just target and shoot. I can think of only one mission where I had to shoot the EM generator to lower a shield. If a mission has multiple areas, no need to chose direction, just proceed through next gate. No Maze, no dead ends, no deadly traps. PvE must remain dull or it will ruin PvP.
2) Do Not consider how to implement a Rock-Paper-Sissors concept into weapons and ships
As is EM-Them-Exp-Kin are very alike, only webs and EW slightly dif in PvP. In PvE webs and EW make little sence for a solo pilot verses 10-20 dumb weak NPC, just tank and shoot weakest through strongest, No Tactics really.
3) Do Not take a lesson from any other major MMOG with shards, some non-PvP. You wouldn't want 2 million subscribers. You have an 'Elite' soul.
I should have seen it a year ago. Then 12 months into playing this game some weeks over 60 hours ( as I was out of work a few months ) and I'm still waiting+paying to train seemingly basic skills! Basic to the Carrier and T-2 ship pirates that camp the narrow paths to lower systems. OMG, tell me again how a two week player competes in PvP with a little training. Not alone! I bought the lie that CCP is set on '1 shardless-game for all' as better for players. Now I think it is just better for their players, their corps and allies.
Is PvE like the economic terrain, the goal being a certain realistic stability with age and numbers? Are modest amounts of PvE primaryly designed to attract PvP targets for their 4 year chars? Is it poor attention to the PvE potential of EVE, or actually Intentional Anti-PvE ? - idk
