Hi,
this is a thread for the new EW Gallente frigate: KERES I've come up with 2 setup one with gun one with support.
DAMP'n'Gun: High: 2x 125mm II w/spike Mid: mwd t2, warp disruptor t2, remote sensor dampener t2 (with a mix, of scan and range script) Low: 2x Overdrive t2, 1 nanofiber t2
RIG: 2 inverted signal (if enouhg money...)
damp effect are near 50% speed: 4.2km/s cap can last between 30sec to 1min if everything is running. so enouhg to support a gang and kill stuff!
DAMP'n'Support: instead of the 2 125mm II you can you remote armor repairer t2 or best named. but you will have to be near your fleet to use the repairer.
Please post your Setups or constructive ideas.

Even if everybody says the Keres sucks - i do have a knack for EW and so the Keres is a must for myself as a Gallente pilot. Basically I like your setup - but unfortunately i dont know how you want to use it because of the apparrent cap issues. Would you please explain that part to us.
I myself am thinking of something like this: (THIS IS AN EXPERIMENTAL SETUP FOR DISCUSSION PURPOSES! DONT GO OUT AND FIGHT LIKE THAT) ;) --------------------------------------------- 3x Capacitor Power Relay II
1MN MicroWarpdrive II Warp Disruptor II 3x Remote Sensor Dampener II, Targeting Range Dampening
2x 125mm Railgun II, Spike S --------------------------------------------- Given that setup can sustain the MWD forever (much to slow i know) - well you wont be doing much because as soon as you activate other modules you will run into cap issues. Maybe pushing my cap skills further or using some cap rigs would give the Keres a bit more usability.

Edited by: Daeron Calaelen on 02/01/2008 11:51:36 I'd fit 2 salvagers instead of guns and 2x CPR's and 1 ODI in the lowslots. Using a T2 MWD and 1 T2 ODI you'll be flying at around 3450 m/s with not even maxxed ot skills. With EAF 4 the T2 scram has 33.2km range. There's no way small railguns, even loaded with Spike have the range you'll be orbiting your target due to the rangebonus you want to be utilizing. Tracking would be a serious issue as well. A Keres just isn't made to do damage.
Now, the salvagers are always welcome in gangs. They're often overlooked while it can be very profitable blowing up T2 (enemy) ships.
