So basically this si all i have planned out
Highs
Guns
Mids
Stuff
Lows
wtf why is ther eonly two slots
As you can see i dont really know what to do here, it seemed fairly effective not having people be able to dps any so i thought id poke around, but he lack of information on the forums forced me to do this and i say What do you people think, and please no abreviations, im stupid no need to rub it in.

For high-sec gangs:
HIGH
whatever fits, it doesn't matter..
MID
1xSensor booster (resolution script)
1xAfterburner
remaining slots: ECM (racial)
LOW
2xSignal Distortion Amplifier
or (with good ECM skills)
1xSDA 1xthe best armor plate that fits
For 0.0 combat get a Rook or:
-swap the Sensor Booster script for range
-swap the AB for Microwarp Drive
-keep 2xSignal Distortion Amplifiers in the lows

Blackbird-good choice mate-I happen to love this ship for its versitality as well as its price. My basic style of play for this cruiser is small gang-small solo. Though solo you really have to pick and choose your targets, luckily being able to jam allows for easy get aways. Dont really see the need for a sensor booster on a blackbird. Or rather, not in the way I personally fly her. I do however sometimes like using a passive targeter in gangs. Same holds true for a MWD. I know everyone and their cousin uses this mod for every single ship they fly however, I just dont like it-have yet to see a need for one personally and thus rarely equip one less Im simply after speed for tackling purposes. The Blackbird is not a tackler though, obviously.
Fittings:
Highs: 1x proto cloaking device II
3x heavy arbalest missile launchers
Mids: 2x racial jammers
2x multi spec's
rest passive defense. shield extenders mainly.
lows: 2x distortion amp's or: if solo drop one for a BCU
Again this isnt a set standard. If im in gang I need little to no tank as im going to rely on my mates to provide the fire power free of charge to whoever poses a threat to me. However when solo I dont want to engage anyone more than two ships at once, so no need for more than 4 jammers with the rest of mids in tank. Anyhoo thats my two cents-best of luck with the ship-beleive it can bring you alot of fun-know it has for me.

Firstly - Its an ECM boat. Mids are used ONLY for ECM. As such, fit them first. As for lows..The reason you only have two is because 1. Caldari are Shield tankers. And 2. Because you dont need to fit anything there, bar from Signal distortion Amps. They increase your jamming strength.
As for highs - Fit heavy missiles, and as many as you can with your skills/fitting ability. dont fit guns.
As for lack of information....Blackbird fits are pleantiful. They've been around since Beta, and ive seen hundreds. The ship setup sticky is your first place to go, followed by the search function. Dont be lazy next time.

Forget guns on this boat, for small gang work:
Mids: 5 x T2 Racial ECM, Small cap injector
Lows: T2 Sig Dist Amp, 1600mm Plate
Sit at optimal ECM/Locking range (75+ km) and jam away merrily while your mates kill stuff.
Keep aligned so that if you get targetted you can run away, the plate means you can probably survive long enough to do this.
Empty highslots means you lose less money when it pops!

Personally, I use 2x medium smarties and 2x AML II in high, for drone and tackler defence.

Kit it out with ECM (a mix of popular racials and multispecs) and possibly MWD/injector/sensor booster/ECCM (obviously you're only going to fit one or two of these) in the mids.
In the lows, put in either 2 signal distortion amps or 1 amp + a DCU or plate.
In the highs, I would suggest heavy missile launchers, to add a bit of DPS and to kill drones. Assaults/standards if PG is low.
