So the number of radar sites has been increased to make up for removing items from cosmos systems. I think this was a good move, but I think it might have been adjusted too much. I'm finding a lot of radar sites with a lot of stuff in them. Granted, it's fun to find stuff, but I can see the prices on these items dropping a lot over the next few weeks.
I like exploration, Hopefully it remains profitable.

Not many people do exploration besides that.. i havn't found any Radar since trinity... only gravimetrics and unkown so i think it depends where you are....
Would wanna trade with ya though ^^

Dont see much logic behind this statement.
1st, how do you judje the proportions of increase in amount of radar sites? I bet you dont know the rate exploration stuff was farmed out of the static plexes. I hope (just hope) that devs had an idea of these numbers when readjusting this.
2nd, even if invention stuff supply will go up, the income of explorers should not change dramatically. Trinity added a whole bunch of new T2 ships that need to be invented and produced, plus the market will pretty much self-adjust, you'll sell more suff cheaper.
I won't worry too much.
The price of interfaces should go down anyway sooner or later - they're not used up, so the demand should drop sooner or later.

I am experiencing the same issue. I have probed about 10-15 radar sites since trinity but didn't find a single mag site. Some unknowns and gravimetric too but no arch/sal. Might be totally random but i am not convinced.
I have found a lot of encryption method skillbooks in those site much more than average for me. Also other nice stuff. In amarr prices are falling day to day. At the weekend cheapeast amarr encryption sb was 90 m. Now its under 50m. Not sure where this is going to go, but maybe one should consider making use of some of the older buy oders that are still up.

This topic is funny as I was just complaining to some corpmates that I haven't found a single radar site since trinity, but almost every other system seems to have a mag site. I wonder if the way the sites are spawning has been screwed up at a constalation or region level?
The good thing is that the salvage and faction POS module BPC's seems to have doubled in frequency in these sites.

It will be profitable, just nowhere near as profitable as it was. The days of 100+mil on a single site are fading quickly (unless of course you hit a ship interface). I figure it's gonna be more in the range of 5-10mil, mostly from decryptors.

I¦m trying to find radar sides from time to time but only found 2 during 2 weeks. Most of the time im finding gravimetric sides which are not interesting for me.

WTB your location... I havent found a single RADAR since Trinity, just a bunch of lame arcsal sites and a pretty cool expedition named Pirate's Path (not isk rewarding though).

In Querius before patch, I'd find one radar for every 5 mag sites I found. Now it's more like 10 radar sites for every mag.
Hard to tell how profitability will be impacted, time will show I guess

Look at the prices of Gallente Encryption Methods plummeting. People are finding more radar sites, and getting the skillbooks from them.

Supply and Demand always applies.
If the amount of radar sites is going up, so will the amount of items sold into the market, and thus prices will be dropping since the market will be sated over time.
Granted, prices may not drop at first, since there is a noticable amount of new players trying out EVE after the Trinity release, and thus an increase in the need for new ships and Tech 2 ships, not to mention the aforementioned need to produce the newly added T2 variant ships as well.
But, again, supply and demand. The more sites that are found, the more items from that particular site is sold to market and the more the prices, over time, will begin to drop.
Thinking otherwise is being hopeful at best, and naive at worst.

Sounds like CCP managed to get things right: I was worried they'd fail to put in enough invention material into explorations after removing it from COSMOS, thus making the new t2 ships even harder to get than they already are :p

yeah .. the amount of invention stuff getting on the market is just ridiculous. you still want T2 stuff be be something at least valuable, not being slapped on every ship out there.

Before Trinity, the encryption books were a relatively rare drop from Arcsal sites. After the Trinity patch, I seem to find 2 to 3 of them in every radar site I complete. I am also finding a LOT more radar sites than I used to.(Feythabolis/Esoteria regions)
Supply and demand is going to drive the prices down. The encryption books are selling at less than half what they were before Trinity and dropping daily.

Agreed. I did exploration quite frequently with only minimal gains. The day after Trinity, I found 4 profession sites in the first 3 systems on the multispectrals. The two I had time to scan out each had a Gallente Encryption book.
Too bad they're not worth what they used to be.

Actually, you will notice that the decryptor volumes traded DROPPED heavily compared to pre-revelations days.
And that was speculators and inventors stockpiling for upcoming patch, to either resell or use.
You might have been underestimating just how much decryptors were dropping from COSMOS before

That's because exporers are duped by the "sudden riches" they encountered and undersell heavily below actual value because they want a quick buck.
Give it enough time, and prices will go back up again.
