I'm fairly new to the forums. However, I've already become sickened by the Crying posts about "Please nerf this ship" "Please nerf that ship" "This ship is too overpowered"
YOU GOT POPPED BY THE SHIP, GET OVER IT ALREADY.
I mean seriously. Why else would anyone make these posts. Unless they were just popped by a ship using that setup.
This game is nice because you can train up for different ships, and find different ways to use them.

Why must everything other than what "x" is flying be overpowered - not much fun if we're all equal and much more exciting to try out do something else - the whole point of this game is diversity.
Wish people would realise that and just enjoy something being different - afterall, everyone can train for everything!!

They should also filter out any post that references EFT stats....

instead of crying like a lemming "why oh why are these threads such tosh?"
just copy the spam threads to a notepad, after your forum session forward that list to [email protected] -- they're usually locked within 24 hours

That would work irony. Except I don't believe the 'nerf this ship' threads are considered spam. They're just a waste of space. It's simply my opinion that people have forgotten what different forum sections are for.
This thread for instance would be more for different fittings, as indicated by the description.
"Discussion platform for ship types and statistics, fittings and modules, and how to build the perfect dream machine in Eve."
For some reason, people have decided that instead of that, they're going to come here and cry about how some ship that just popped them is too overpowered. Granted. I do see some of these ship balancing posts that are actually well thought out, and make some sense. And to be honest, they should just be posted in the proper section, ie. "Features and Ideas Discussion". The sections are there for a reason. However, the ones that are just crying, really dont need to be posted anywhere.
I'll illustrate the difference.
Good:
X ship has these features.
If this was lowered and that was raised it might balance it a little.
Bad:
X ship is too overpowered. they can hit me and I cant hit them waa waa waa.
You see the difference? One has an idea and some possible suggestions. The other just cries because the ship does things they cant. But like I said, the good suggestions should really just be posted in the proper section.
