This.
I hardly watch TV these days and commercial radio is a big no-no. I just hate them all, with one exception; every now and then I play S.P.O.C.K's White Christmas cover, and the more people I can annoy with it the better. Awful song.
edit: also, any Basshunter tune, that guy ought to be shot.

That is so far from being even the worst song from the 80's. It's probably not even the worst song from 82.
Christmas songs are horrible, but I kinda like The Pogues'
So difficult. So much bad music.
I think my definitive "I wish this had never been recorded" era was the 90's when all those ****-ey eurocheese dance tracks were being recorded.
I do actually get a bit nostalgic about some 90's dance when I listen to it now. Not having it played at me every seven ******* seconds probably helps and some of it really works as pop music.
This however... this has only gotten worse and has no redeeming features whatsoever and is probably the horriblest thing ever recorded. EVE RELATED CONTENT |

One thing I never understand is how the EU human rights commission, usually so eager to swoop on the first sign of something which requires over-legislation, manages to totally ignore the suffering of all those workers in retail to have to endure looped CD's featuring the likes of Wizzard, Wham and any other feckless pop star who decided to cash in on Christmas by creating (these days usually covering) some mindless Christmas tune. It drives me insane just having to spend half an hour in those conditions, never mind working in them day after day for two months.
Good thing about Iceland: I do not understand the Christmas music they play in the mall.

I agree. My old Drama teacher from a few years back in early high school had to be admitted to a psycyatric ward for a few day's as he worked in a shop with christmas tunes blazing everywhere.

Fatboy Slim - I cba to look up the name of it: Quote: Right about now, the funk soul brother Check it out now, the funk soul brother Right about now, the funk soul brother Check it out now, the funk soul brother
probably the least funky or soulful thing I've ever heard.

I tried - I think. I have it typed into my google tab and under history they are there under having watched today. Given my ears are bleeding and my clock jumped 13 miniutes, I think it is safe to assume my mind shut down for the duration to preserve my sanity....

Along these lines but arguably worse was what I noticed when visiting Salzburg. Seemed every bleeding store had the Sound of Music piped through to the point I wondered if there was just one central stereo for the whole city. For the first 15 minutes I thought it was cute then it got progressively more annoying. After a day there I wanted to nuke the place so the "Hills are Alive" would no longer be the case.
Don't get me wrong, loved the city and the people but if I worked there I would go mad and they do this 365 days a year.

[incert 200% cynicalism] Because most people act like sheep, mindless creations, indoctrinated and brainwashed by the regime called democracy and after the working day happily go home to watch "****ing with the stars" Where they all totally forget the merry braindamaging Christmas tunes. [end 200% cynicalism]

If I could go back in time but was only allowed to do one thing, I wouldn't put a bet on last weeks lottery, without a doubt I'd kill the man who signed the Venga Boys before he got the chance. Never before has a group so badly made me want to puncture both ears and poor cement in there to make absolutely sure their music never ever got in there again, and then piece by piece scoop out parts of my brain until all memory of their songs had been removed.

Throwing freight for albertsons. Twice every night we had to endure that Celine Dion song. The whole store would suddenly hear the chorus of the freight crew singing "I don't wanna wait for this song to be over!" ___________________________

I'm not quite sure, but are you knocking Bowie v Crosby wrt Little Drummer Boy? If this is the official dev response, then no one can have my stuff, it's already trashed.
Edit: Oops. The Latin "cum" is verboten. "v" is substituted in its place, though less appropriate. ----- TANSTAAFL
