Test: - jump between systems with open star map - switch beewen star map and system map - after 3..5 switches the maps are not usable anymore
1) start map not visible anymore (open/close/center/select nothing is working) 2) solarsystem map loosing all planets/moons; not centred anymore; zoom not possible anmymore
- solarsystem map can be recoverd via warp and/or open close; but is currupted again after next jump - star map is lost until relogg

Yep same here. Also have the star map issues on TQ. Map looses function, and you have to relog. |

i keep the map closed while jumping, so i havent hit this personally, but another thing that can happen is you can get stuck in the map, unable to close it. Then if you jump, you get a half closed map, with wonky looking space.

I've bugged this in the past and several others have bugged this time and time again. CCP's response is "clear your cache." This works as a temp fix. However they fail to realize it will come back very shortly and that players like myself don't really like clearing our cache instead of having a proper fix.

Been getting this too. Happens when switching from star map to system map and back again, you loose the star map completely. Happens without jumping with map open as well. Happens to me all the time as i do a lot of exploring.

I bug reported it and they said it does not happen on all systems and I should submit a DXdiag etc.
I urge people who have these issues to bug report them and include direct X diagnostic capture etc. and eve log file.

Confirm these and there's other issues with the map as well. Opening map and switching to solar system view and then back to map initializes the map "correctly". Just opening the map directly to the galaxy view does not initialize it and the lines between stars are not shown when zoomed out.

Bug reported this over last weekend with DXdiag and log file but bug report not yet filtered. Suppose if they already have a defect open then hopefully this will be resolved.

Sadly change to solar system map and to star map isn't helping at all. At least in bug thet I'm having when star map goes almost all balck and shows always same system. Only way to fix this is by relog. It happens after you warp on solar system map and change to star map during warp. And then jump through stargate.
