I'll gouge all i like thanks very much 
Since harvesters haven't dropped for quite a qhile I'm quite confident that they'll hit my price eventually. People are offering 1 mil already so it's just a matter of time.

Yeah - but they get popped like ZITS  when NPC's arrive - so does that make em more or less expensive

OK. Bigbys guide to mining wih Harvies.
1. Get less than 1500 metres from roid.
2. Release harvies.
3. When rats spawn, scoop harvies.
4. Deal with rats
5. Goto 1.
Not foolproof, but works well for me as I've not lost one for months.

I've had a harvie as level 3 agent mission bonus, just the one so far but it seems they're not completely out of the game again

Hmm - that may work in safe space, i dont mine in safe space m8 where the rats spawn between ships and the drones -but I'll keep that in mind if I go to mine some veldspar in noobieville

There is no safe spots anymore and it does work if you do it correctly. Just like you can warp out of the belt before the spawn nails you if need be.
