is it possible to create a safepot outside scan range? i mean if you put a fast ceptor and just go straight out for a month or something...

It would take you roughly 5.7months to do 1au in a straight line at 10km/s
So no :)

to go 10 AU would take more than a month, even at 100 km/s...

Take away the risk and it would make flying around in space utterly pointless.
Take away the flying around part and you make EVE into a space themed spreadsheet application. |

You can do it in less than a minute in some systems, and you don't need an interceptor or to wait for anything. As long as there are celestial objects that are far enough away from each other, it's easy.

You can do it in less than a minute in some systems, and you don't need an interceptor or to wait for anything. As long as there are celestial objects that are far enough away from each other, it's easy.
ok, so if there is a spot 50 AU away from anything but is still along a warp path... anyone else can create those same safe spots and still reach you with probes. although that will take a bit longer than dropping probes at each planet.

True. Although if there are several points that are really far off from each other, you can make unaligned safe spots that would be pretty difficult to reach.
