You need electronics 5 lvl for it:

If you needed Electronics 5 it would be a requirement. Electronics 5 isnt currently a requirement. I do however have Electronics 5 as have most people and yes i cant train this skill.

I think the skill he is talking about is the skill Nanite Operation, not Nanite Engineering. I cannot train it too, since it tells me Mechanic skill is required as a pre-skill.

Edited by: Karanth on 13/12/2007 00:48:03 What happens if you have Science, Mechanics, Electronics, and Engineering all at 5?
I'd test it, but I trained it for skill count a long time ago, so I can't try it.
EDIT: Forgot a skill.

Not sure how you trained this a while ago as the skill just came with Trinity. This is Nanite Operation and *not* Nanite Engineering. If I remember correctly, this allows you to use nanite componds to repair modules in space which have been damaged by heat.

Edited by: Karanth on 13/12/2007 04:57:46 The skill in question was kinda unclear, so I assumed it was the engineering.
EDIT: As per the OP.
