OK i've got a couple questions about them, and sorry if these have been asked and answered. Are they primarily used for scouting, or are the decent in battle??? Also, I've look at two different sites for the flying requirments on the ships and of course they differed, what are they???
Thanks in advance

<race> frigate lvl 5 evase maneuvring lvl 5 interceptor lvl 1
I have so far heard of them acting admirably in the webify role pvp so that a bigger ship can come in to kill the target ship in fleet battles.

Interceptors are very usefull in battle, since theyre hard to lock. Most used tactic id say is have an interceptor warp in, scramble, and warp out. The scrambling effect lasts 20 secs, enough for some more heavy ships to warp in and scramble the target. Theyre also very usefull for taking out indys etc.
You can check their required skills ingame at the market, just show info on them. It is: Frigate lvl5 Evasive manouvring lvl5 Interceptor lvl1

yeah...i'm in a corp and all of them have battleships and i didn't want to get one just because everyone else had one, so i figured i could fly an interceptor. Do you think that one interceptor could effectively make hit and run attacks??? Or would more be needed to be effective.
Thanks Me

Depends on what you're attacking. Indys and frigates, yes. Anything above that, you do need support.
Odd things can happen, but don't expect them--you're not going to be blowing up cruisers in it. If all your corp-mates have bships, either get an interceptor and do a support role (scrambling, webbing, dampening, etc) or use a black bird. ------------- My salsa makes all the pretty girls want to dance and take off their underpants. you can easily kill a cruiser in normal frigates, so in a interceptor it will be even easier

I was just reading about the two Min. interceptors. The site said that the stiletto has 3 high points and has 2 turret hardpoints and 0 launcher hardpoints. Is this information correct, if so what could you use the other high point for???
thanks me

My question is can these interceptor frigates warp to any and all objects in space including ships via their scanners?
What are you going to do? I'm going to kill them all sir |

Interceptors have the same warp restrictions as any other ship. The thing that makes them nice is their high speed, low signature, and very fast targeting. An interceptor WILL lock on first against any other type of ship, so they would be great for the "warp in, scramble, warp out" trick. Also, they'd make great protection against frigate indy-ganking squads since they out-gun and out-speed most other frigates. However, interceptors are NOT that useful against large ships as far as actually doing damage goes. For that, Kestrels are still the frigate of choice... though a couple interceptors would eat a Kestrel wing for lunch, so they DO make good escorts.
