Sekhen	Posted - 2004.03.12 20:02:00 - [1] I have read alot of posts about how "chainspawning" is taken out from the game. This is not true. Chainspawning is still with us. This is a small, and easy, tutorial. 1. Find yourself a spawn in a belt. 2. Keep one (1) of the rats around (the "smallest" one is prefered). 3. Kill all the new rats that spawn and keep your little pet with you. The friends to your "pet rat" will respawn faster and faster over time. After 3-4 "waves" of rats, you will most definetly notice a differance. Just remember to keep your "pet rat" around. When you want to close the spawn, just kill all the rats, including your pet. Then the chain will be broken and you can get the swag. I hope this small and easy guide will help you make some chainspawning going, and enlighten some of you that in most cases, you have to work to get where you want... A little heads up: Try to avoid using drones. Your pet rat will be a target for them sooner or later. Katchin	Posted - 2004.03.12 20:09:00 - [2] note: If you want to chain BSs, the "friend" has to be part of a BS spawn. Eg 3 BSs 5 cruiser and a frig keep the frig alive and you will get the same 3 bss and 5 cruisers again.

I allso like to add that this can be done in gangs,not just solo. Out in Aridia you can chain 1x65 2x45 4x10 all the time, and in deep 0.0 it's easier to do with larger ships. I doubt that is a trigger. Belt jump until you find a good spawn and follow my guide and you will have your hands full in a while. Galk	Posted - 2004.03.14 14:58:00 - [13] 30 mins. All you have to wait, though when they first changed with the cruiser invasion thingy, i was getting them after 10 mins. But all thats gone out of the window now. Fester Addams	Posted - 2004.03.14 15:15:00 - [15] Actually the size of the spawn is an issue... or atleast was. Not value but number, dont bother try start up a chain if there are few rats, I never tries with any number lower than 6.

I'm in a Scorp with about 7.8k shield, Themral and Kinetic hardener online and one 10k rat hammering trying to get the shield down. Not likley to do any armor dmg in the next year or so... Oh well... Last Saturday did one for about 5 hours :)

CCP wanted to nerf Ninja Mining. Perhaps it is only a trigger in deep space but I know when I try and mine, say, Crokite rats now seem to appear almost like clockwork within 3 minutes of starting mining. Maybe you need a jet can out too...I dunno but they definitely seem to come fast now. Of course I may just have the Colossal Bad Luck thing .

I guess thats just bad luck... It has worked every time for me so far. But the first "respawn" can be reeeeally slow some times. But a whole hour... I've observed this at bars with guys and chicks. The girls will chop off the weiner of all but the least attractive guy, who they'll keep around... even though he keeps trying to get in their pants. Right before each kill, each of the guys will jettison at least one mixed drink of varying quality. The guys will keep coming back for more, though, because they're drunk too and they see that really fugly guy surrounded by hot chicks...
