Hey all
I decided to try Eve Online again (i sold my toon a long while ago for ISK) and im getting an error with a new skill, warp drive operation
it says it is a rank 0 skill, and i have 0/0 skill points. if i right click and hit "train skill" it says im already learning it, and if i hit OK, it doesnt fix itself

ugh the pictures came out tiny...stupid photobucket
well i hope you can understand what im trying to say...the second one says "you are currently training warp drive operation to level 1 (lies) are you sure you want to start training warp drive operation to level 1?"
and if i hit yes, it does nothing

Interesting, hard to see but it looks like the skillbook icon has changed colors like its a lvl 5 skill. Hope you petitioned this.

Hrm, have you tried closing and then re-opening EVE? That seems like a graphical bug/client bug to me.

Yeah the icon did change to the level 5 "finished skill" icon. I restarted Eve and it was still the same
well Im sending a petition now lol. at least its not a really important skill...if this happened with something like Amarr Cruiser, I'd probably shoot someone lol
*edit* i tried training another skill from scratch and it worked fine...weird lol

There are lots of UI bugs outstanding. Oh joy.
EDIT:: On another note, the devs have blamed the dismal state of the trinity patch on surprise surprise, rushing it to market. What isn't referenced here are all the other game debilitating bugs.

Well, i did a complete client reinstall, and it fixed itself (it showed me as already having Warp Drive Op 1 finished lol)
and heres a funny passage taken from that blog
