ALL AUSSIE (and surrounding area) EVE PLAYERS!!!
After many months of waiting for a good meet to happen for the aussie based pilots, I have decided to take it upon myself to organise one. Thus, the first annual AUSSIE EVE MEET has begun!
What I need to know is if you would be interested in attending such an event as this will better prepare me for booking of venues and (if big enough) a bit of sponsorship.
It will initially not include any crazy things like tournaments and dev lectures (i.e. fanfest level activities) but will be more of a chance to sit, chat and be generally merry with fellow eve addicts. If I have my way, it should cost near to nothing, with all drinks and food being purchased as you want them. I will see about making it as 'all age friendly' as possibly but this might be restricted to 18+. More details to come.
So leave a note below and tell all your corp buddies about the opportunity. Remember, the more the merrier!!

Perth FTW! But yeah, you would probably be right saying that it wouldn't be held here in Perth. :( Are those really cheap flights (like $50) still going? Unless they were like the opening and promotional thingies..

I'm keen for a Jan event in Brisbane. I was going to suggest drinks/lunch at Breaky Creek Hotel mid Jan.
Does anyone know who can modify the channel banner on 'ANZAC' chat channel?

Although, as a Canberra-based pod pilot, I'd consider going to a Sydney meet, can I suggest that those who cannot make it to the Sydney one coordinate a gathering in their own city? Same time, same day, so the promotion can be coordinated?
In Brissy, I'd suggest AFK - a mate's cafe in Gabba across the road from the Mater.

G'day all,
I would attend the sydney meet if i can get my hands on a cheap flight as i am on the Gold Coast i would also attend any meet held in Brisbane.

i got 2-3 guys form my corp in adelaide and 3-4 in queensland. we may all come down/over for a bit of a trip. how many otehr adelaide ppl are playing eve?? we mite get a friday night of drinking shenaggins going at the "tap in", 'stag' or wheelbarrow or soemthing

id be up for it im in newcastle so geting to sydney is no prob.
i did see a post about a get together in sydney for the last weekend in may being organised i believe by kamikaze blackfish,
so ppl might wanna look into that as well but the more the merrier
ive been to hell and back.

Sydneysider... I'd love to come along, dates permitting.
In the meantime, we have an event, nominally an Eve CCG day, at Unlimited Hobbies, Blacktown on May 31st organised.

Also, anyone goign to GenconOz in Brisbane in July? We have at least 3 KFE members headed there, and it'd be great to catch up with other Eve players there (maybe an excuse for a Qld meetup).
