Edited by: Illdred Sty on 13/12/2007 07:59:42 I've tried this game twice (thrice if you count my one 14 day trial) and each time I knew I needed to find players to have fun but each time I failed to do so and quit within a months time out of boredom of running easy mission after easy mission.
This time I'm determined to really try. I'm looking for either a Corp that doesn't mind helping me learn the PvP ropes (prepare for questions) or at least someone who can point me towards a corp that helps newbies learn PvP (I've heard of some, just can't remember them).
Leave name here or contact me in-game if interested.
>> EDIT: LOOK HERE!! << Apparently they didn't change my avatar right away. My characters name is Elator.

If you are a North American pilot, I'd like to talk to you a little further about what your ship capabilities currently are at your current SP. We hand train all of our pilots for PVP combat and could even assist you in creating skill plans to maximum your training so you can enjoy yourself a little more on PVP ops.
Convo me in-game or send me an evemail, I'd like the opportunity to talk further. Here is our recruitment ad if you'd like a little more info.

Calista Industries is looking for new pvp pilots of varying experience levels.
Calista Industries is more than a year old formed by old Xanadu members. We have an equal split of American and European members, and a healthly mix of industry and pvpers. We are currently a member corp of the BRUCE alliance operating in the Syndicate and Fountain Regions. We have several capital pilots and all enjoy supporting our alliance in fleet operations.
What we are looking for: Mature players with reasonable activity levels Willingness to make 0.0 your home and defend it. Willingness to use Ventrilo and hunger for pvp operations. SkillPoint requirements will be worked out on a case by case basis, we do not have a problem training novice pvpers if they have a willingness to learn. Desire to goof off and have fun with the corp members who treat eachother like brothers.
What we offer you: A friendly environment of laid back friends who operate like a family. Daily PVP operations and training for those who want to learn. Ratting/Mining/Ice mining/Missioning in relative safety. Combat Ship Reimbursement program Freighter service for moving your goods in and out of 0.0. A place to hone or establish your pvp skills and grow with an active alliance. Welcome package of corp supplied assets for your use after a short trial period.
If this sounds like you please contact hisgoatness ingame, fill out a contact form on our website, or leave a post here and I will convo you. Calista Industries Website

Ah yes...knew I forgot to mention something. Yes, I'm a North American CST gamer. I'll be contacting some of you when I log in next.
So far my skills I had been training were for tackling (I believe that's the term you give it). I have basic skills for things like MWDs and Webifiers, though I may have missed a few skills because I was pretty much training this myself from the frigate setups I've seen on this forum without any help.

I'd recommend EVE University. They're very helpful and produce top-notch trainees, to be honest.
