Curious on what people think are the best one-two combinations of ships in the game. That is, two ships that complement each other very well making them far more dangerous together than just adding them together would suggest (i.e. the whole is greater than the sum of the parts).
Doesn't have to be just battleships either...battleship/cruiser combos, cruiser/cruiser, cruiser/frigate...whatever you like.

Anyways there is no cookie cutter combo, Megathron + Scorpion would most likely be eaten by dual Scorpion, which in turn would be owned by dual Raven, which would be eaten by dual [mega/arma/domi].
edit1: Mega + EW Scorpion is a nice one though, as long as you don't meet any other scorpions you'd r@pe most other 2on2 combos. However, sh!t can happen, if both ships have fofs and drones the scorpion could be taken down rather quickly.
edit2: Now I know how l33t-šp34k was invented.

I have to disagree - the players will make the difference...
Also, fit the mega with smartbombs instead of launchers.
