Every third thread on the Forums seems to divulge into a simple "why didn't CCP say something about this change."
Just a CCP quote on the reasoning for unpublished changes would be wonderful.
Also the loss of assets due to unpublished changes is something, I don't even know if replacement is the answer, but at some point not knowing a survivability issue because a game mechanic was changed without notice is not entirely the player/pilots fault.
This is simple question is there a published official enforced nondisclosure policy for patches. What changes fall under announced and what do not. And what is the policy for reimbursement for losses due to changes of game play mechanics.

Patch Notes
If you feel something changed that is not on there then say what it is. Such things like the POS issues and Jump Clone issues are clearly bugs. I have no idea what CCPs policy is on reimbursement for those but I suspect you have a good chance (eventually) at it if you lost, say, implants using a jump clone.

Those are the post release patch notes. Not really pertinent but thanks for the comments.

Not true. I read that page and the other page of notes a few days before Trinity went live on TQ. I believe they were up the Friday before the patch. Only the bits in green were added later.
- - - - Rei Sara's suggestion perfectly strikes the Features And Ideas Discussion thread, wrecking all arguments and killing the idea completely... Even though it was her own. |

So, read the notes at patch day. They can put in last minute changes, or would you rather they delayed the patch 3 weeks if they made 1 small change in the last minute?

Small changes are one thing, but game breaking changes are another. =P CCP should make the patch notes a mandatory read and if we all agree to have some foresight and spend the time to stay on top of those notes then they need to promise us that they will CEASE AND DESIST with this whole patch before properly testing garbage.

Delay months personally. Marketing is not a "patchable" offense. ____TheThread____
