Man was last night a killer, literally, lol.
We had a mining op going and The Church decided to pay us a little visit, a vicious battle ensued but alas our mining op got pwned, I lost a Brutix myself but it was fun!
The miners got out in time though so that's something.
Yeah, it was the first I suppose mid/large-size fleet combat I was ever in, I think they had about 30 ships to our 24, something like that, the lag was really bad for everyone but at least I got my name on a Vagabonds kill mail.
Anyway you win you lose some. Props to The Church, you guys are good.

Omg how lame is this, a bunch of noobs (i talk here about the thread hijackers, not the OP) trying to bash an ananymous alt - this can only happen in the moron-infested crime and punishment forum - i feel sooo down because of your nasty posts

Bah, i posted a natural responce on the topic. In CAOD you get smacked if you make a new thread about the loss of a mothership or a small sized dradnought fleet.
And what we have here, a drake killed by a gang, wow, this accomplishment is defenitely worth a new thread. But ok i don't want to be to be so harsh with you pirates, it takes much less to get pirates excited, the kill of a mighty ship such as a drake is definitely a great achievement for the pirate community

get over yourself....
1st off as you have noticed this is not CAOD and it is not the drake kill that is the "achievement" it is his "1st real roving gang kill"...his 1st step into piracy and or pvp that we are "celebrating with him"
more pvpers means less carebears at least in terms of arguning for new content and such...which is good for alliance players and pirates alike...
if your so used to CAOD, then I suggest you keep you sour attitude there. The free for all smack that flies around there is by comparison alot worse than C&P...
please practice your reading comp before you flame away...as I said it is not the "drake kill" we are "excited' about....

Castra, the fact that you hold CAOD up as the model of forum conduct tells me all I need or want to know.
To the OP, congratulations and keep it up. PvP (preferably in a small gang at high speeds) is a blast, so to speak.
