I can recommend E-UNI both to new players as well as expierienced players looking to move on to new challenges.
If you want to learn the game, E-UNI is definitely the place to be |

If it wasn't for the university, I'd probably have quit the game after the trial ended. This main thing is that the game's learning curve is so steep that you would need a personal touch to help you along. The classes are the BEST thing in the university because they let you learn SO much and there are practicals too, which let you test out some stuff, and not just reading about it somewhere, its totally different. The teaching staff are excellent and will guide you 1-on-1 if you are a bit slow in picking up the techniques to survive in EVE.
Highly recommend!!! Fly Safe o7 |

Are you new to EVE, or perhaps you've been around a bit and are somewhat frustrated? Looking to learn? Then perhaps EVE University is for you.
I bumbled around a couple of months in New Eden when I decided to apply. Best decision ever. I now have contacts and friends like you wouldn't believe and I'm learning more and more about EVE.
What's it like? Well our learning evironment is designed for you to have fun, and to not be afraid of making mistakes and yet protect you (except from yourself... ) from many of the dangers that can frustrate newer players. We even have programs such as our Skillbook Replacement Program, Purchase and Build Your Own Ship programs, a ship replacement program, modules, ammo, T1 frigate hulls, and the best is it's okay that you go out a lose some of it.
We teach many subjects and have many guest lecturers. We've had CCP staff and the legendary Chribba come in and teach.
Is it perfect? No. Is it for everyone? No. It is, however, a fantastic place to learn and get one up on the learning curve. There are even those who hang around our public channel and help. We have some interesting characters join us there too, and impart knowledge on some controversial subjects. We also have many that simply learn from being in the channel and using our public resources such as our wiki, the recorded classes, and even some video's.
And rumour has it that this weekend (September 10 and 11, 2011) there will be a "Queue Smasher" event where many of the Personnel Officers (recruiters) and other staff will be on to conduct interviews and really smash the infamous queue so I'm thinking it may be a good time to apply and get into the queue. How do you apply? I'm glad you asked. You can begin your application process here.
Who knows, maybe you'll get me as your interviewer |

E-Uni has been a great community for me to learn the game - and meet some fantastic people. If you are a new pilot I can't think of a better place to be to start your Eve journey.

Eve uni is a sportive, structured, supportive corporation were you can learn the basics of the game or compeet on the higher lvl of what eve is about. Eve university is by far the best corp and probably the most respected corp in the entire game.
You will fit in as long as you apply by the rules. |

Eve Uni gives you an excellent grounding in Eve.
It gives you the knowledge and experience to develop into a character that would be an asset to any corp you chose to join in future, while having fun at the same time! There's always someone else on happy to mission, mine or PVP with you!
If you ever have a question, or need help, there is always someone there.

Great community not only for learning but also for a chat in a friendly and relaxing environment. Not to mention the huge boost to every new player in terms of ISK and other "material" gains. |

It's an excellent introduction to Eve if you're new..and even if you're not new it's a place where your skills and knowledge can be put to good use for less experienced players.
Very sociable and fun. You won't find a much better place to expand your enjoyment of the game with us! |

If you are new to the wonder of Eve or even a few months old and unsure of what your destiny is and where it will take you.....
Eve University is the only choice.
We will take the most nervous capsuleer and turn them into the Gods they should be.
The skills you will learn are only a start. You will learn the value of teamwork and that knowledge truly is power. More importantly you learn in a environment where no question is stupid, help is always available and confident that should harm befall you, the Uni-Blob (tm) will have your back!
Become the best of you. Join E-Uni. |

Great corporation for very new players and they offer classes on a lot of different things. Is also a great place to go to try and build up some contacts in the Eve Universe and make friends for the entire time you're playing the game.
Ultimately I would say though, don't go to it as a permanent home. You will outgrow it eventually and at that stage become frustrated with the rules that are in place to protect the even less experienced characters and at that stage it's time to move on and join one of the countless other corps in Eve, with there being quite a few formed out of former Uni pilots.
Can't recommend it enough for the new players looking to try out the basics of every aspect of the game, though it does struggle get into real depth with any single aspect... |

I great place to get started in EVE! The ship replacement program helps a lot if you want to learn PvP fleets without losing ISK especially since you are broke when you start out. Lots of great classes also and a wiki page! |

I've been playing on and off for about a year. While doing an incursion, a friendly soul helped me with my fit and pointed me towards EVE University. Since I joined, I have learned a thousand fold more than any of the tutorials or first-hand experience can teach. Never thought I would, but I have learned tremendous amounts about PvP and have participated in numerous fleets which were thoroughly enjoyable. Even if you lose your ship, you gain invaluable knowledge about what to do (or not) the next time, be it fleet PvP or solo. I would recommend this corp to anyone that is starting out or an old hand that needs pointers or willing to teach a few things to the FNG's.

Eve Uni has been one of the best corporations I have been in, it's almost a must for new pilots.
The infamous learning curve of eve is a lot better tackled when you have friendly, experienced, and motivated people to help train and teach the newer generations. What the management and teachers are doing here in this corp really shines a light in the blackness that is the eve universe. I have had some of my most fun times in this corp, whether it be the pvp fleets, the wormhole ops, the low sec camping trips, or even just learning something new through the classes. I highly recommend new players join this corp so they can be better prepared for when they really decide to go out on their own. |

Floundering - overwhelmed - E Uni is more refreshing than Quafe - you know it makes sense.
Seriously - until I made it into E Uni, I really didn't have a clue what I was doing. A few months on - of course I've still a lot to learn - but the uni is making sense of New Eden.
Geniunely friendly, and open to all questions you could throw at its members - highly recommend |

Thanks to the great people in EVE University! I just became a member and on my first day I went on my first incursion, learned about ten new things, and participated in a live event, all as part of an awesome fleet with knowledgeable FCs. I've been playing for six months and it was the most fun I've had. Definitely recommend! |

Good day:
I spent four (4) months in Eve University; and it was four months well spent.
Eve University has classes for most (if not all) subject matters (right now I'm kicking myself for not learning exploration from them).
While in the near future, Eve University pilots may be shooting up my ships (I'm working to be a pirate; and I'm in a pirate corporation), I salute every member. Eve University is a great corporation.
Thank you.
