Ok. I've looked and searched through the forums and not found what I'm looking for. So I asking here...
I want to go out tonight and hit some farmers / macro-ers. I'm just not sure what ship to use to do it. I'm Gallente and can fly Gallente upto BS (lvl 5) and Caldari BS (lv 4). I usually fly a Raven when I'm carebear mission running, but i don't really want to use that. My gunnery skills are quite good approx 6.6 mil sp inc large hybrid 5.
Suggestions on a suitable ship to take down farming haulers and BS's and a rough fit please.
Thanks guys, and wish me well. It's been about 2yrs since i've last had any pvp and about 3yrs since i've last pirated.... :/

Looks like you haven't searched much sir 
With caldari BS , you can fit a Rokh for sniping. Works well on lowsec gates and stations.
Gallente BS V should be ideal to station camp with a hyperion also. Either ships can be fitted for smartbombing , can do that at the warp in point for gates or 5km off the station undock (ships can no longer insta redock)
Killing farmers alone is somewhat dangerous , and they fight back sometimes. Looks like you can tag along with my corp if you're serious about it.

A couple of days ago 2 crazy chinese torp ravens camping the station in Jovainnon got my domi just into structure whilst I was de-agressing to re-dock. I think I made them mad.  BS 4, repair systems 5, saved my ass.
I'd suggest a hyperion, I have only tried it on the test server, but with the right rep rigs (1 nano pump 2 nanobots) and a rack of mega electrons, a raven is a piece of cake. As for the haulers, just get a sensor boosted rail myrm and keep a stash of cap boosters nearby.

SmartBombing Hyperion ill do the trick. Full tank in lows, cap rechargers in meds.
Mamet area is pretty good for haulers too, but if your blinky CVA will gank you

I also had some fun in Jovainnon this weekend, fighting the farmer Raven spawns. I couldn't fight them in my Drake, so I got aggro on them, identified their shield resists then warped back in with my torp Raven...
I killed 2 Ravens and a Myrm in that fight, before having to disengage through lack of cap charges (since I didn't need a MWD, active Raven seemed better, even though I still needed 2 fitting mods...). It was close - I took some structure damage, and would have died without my ECM drones. Fortunately, not all were fitting scrams, and some were stabbed, gimping their relock times when jammed by ECM drones. Later, I killed another Raven.
After that they refused to engage my Raven.

Go to ingunn with any heavy tanked bs set up for close range and station hugging; the hyp is my choice. Sit there popping haulers until the ravens undock, kill ravens until your cap is about to dissapear, deagrro, redock, re-up on cap charges and ammo, repeat.
Local is routinely at 100+ with the vast majority in bestowers and iterons
