Location- Mercenary Frigate Stronghold Litura
Today MLM engaged mercenary frigates #cough battleships# in Litura.
A few initial skirmishes resulted in loss of one mlm cruiser to f-e who were floating around. Luckily for the f-e member, the sentry guns didnt go off when they should have so his scorp remained untouched.
Mercenary frigs regrouped and called in reinforcements as did mlm.
A brief stand off resulted in a fleet battle at nonni gate. Evenly matched fleets ( we may have had one more bs?) in mixture of bs, cruisers and frigs engaged.
Frigs lost one cruiser and all sides bs took damage.
Respect to frigs for engaging us even tho they knew we had backup lurking.
Smack talk was non-existant (minimal).

LOL nice try at a cheap shot, yes when facing a fleet of battleships we are just going to turn up like lambs to the slaughter,
As a rule we at MF hate battleships, slow, clumbersome, but you cannot argue with their firepower potential, we would much rather have the romantic frigate wars and try to bring a bit of inexpensive fun back into the game as is our ideal aim,
but non the less MLM use what resources they have and i cant blame you for protecting what could be millions in clone/implants etc..
but to try to tarnish us with the above quote is a bit low,
we dont have millions in isk`s to provide the fleets you seem acustom to, we dont try to have the best equipment money can buy.
what we do try to have is FUN FUN FUN
getting killed isnt fun, but its not all bad either, we can accept getting killed by battleships, but what i find hard to swallow is cheap jabs about us deploying a battleship force to try and give a bit back of what we are receiving.
on the whole its been good natured and i certainly aim to keep it that way
try leaving your battleships at home one day and fleet up in frigs, you will be supprised at what fun and tacticaly challenging it can be.

wasnt aware i was "smack talking", appologies are in order if a appear to be, please define the exact properties smack talking to me Wild so i kow what to look out for next time
i was mearly putting forward our ideals and aim of merc frigates to have fun also but also to say that when forced to we will try to compete on a higher lvl than we are used to,

Not meant to flame this was a friendly post.
We try and fight you in frigates and cruisers- your members will confirm this.
I have had to turn to my bs temporarily for 2 reasons. i ran out of frigs and cant afford to replace them as im skint, and also because we are also at war with another corp and need to have bs ready for them.
I wasnt having a dig at you- was a good fight thats all.

The sentries did go off  damn things were kicking the crap outa me. I had my MWD equipped for some odd reason 
Kudos to your Bbird pilot though, pleasant surprise to have someone use a bit of courage in this game once in a while 
Thankgod the BS that warped in didn't have a warp scrambler, woulda been an entirely differant story

I hope the next fight I'll be in will be better.
For some odd reasons the sentry guns open up o my tempest so I had to warp out twice as you might have seen.
As for Sloth and dexter, hush hush guys, but truely sloth the cough remark wasnt at all necessary
I think the fleets were like this
MF:
2x Tempest
1x Raven
1x Thorax
2x Frigs
MLM:
4x Battleships(classes unknown)
1x Blackbird
1x Cruiser(class unknown)
Not sure if they had any frigates, but im pretty sure I recall one.
Anyways good fight, let's hope the next one is even better.

It was close Jebidus, Just as you warped out another Battleship came in..
Dunno if you guys got it on your side, but I got some bad lag while we were fighting at the Gate, took forever to load missiles.. 
Anyway GG.

that would have been me in the BB then.. until someone gave me a couple of very large hits and i decided i might be out of my depth..

As for hire ppl in frigates to fight for you..
Not that defend yourself from our attack in frigates

Was lots of fun. I was catching some heat from my wife just before we locked horns. She thinks the whole Eve thing is kinda silly and wanted to go shopping.

i think dexter just misunderstood you statement slothe. we are so usta gettin verbally hammered that when a fair and ballanced comment like your comes out "we are stunned" as for the battleships part. dexter is right we dont want to be in them. but as you pointed out you had to restort to one because of "other wars" and foes lurking. we have to do the same, we understand. and i love the frig fighting , hell im not very good at it but its what makes me log on everyday. even [rkk] stopped showing up in BS's we have seen mostly on frigs outta them and they are good! [t2 intercepters] . i think even some of milliniums guys may have had a few.
and yes thier was no smacktalk at all, just fightin fun.
alas tho we do have 2 very determined and isk rich enemy[war] corps who come for blood everyday. with many bs's ,as you may have witnessed... and because of that we do drag out the BS's we have access to [ not many ] and try to fight back as best we can. and that gets in the way way sometimes[and yes FE likes to fight to and will lend a hand if in the area]. hazards of war tho. we have learned to live with it. but i cant blame anyone for wanting to defend themselves from a war we declared.[ basically we pull names from a hat and hope they fight back ]sure wish we could have more than 3 declared wars..
oh and for any other corps out there who want to have fun and yes add a little risk to your rock chopping declare war on us.
and slothe/millinium we hope to see you again. and im sure we will, i just hope i fly away in my ship and not a pod like most of the time.
and i cant leave without this lttle rant which has nothing to do with our fighting it just needs to be said.
ccp , quit goofing off and take the ability to mine AWAY battleships/cruisers/frigates and make a class of ship that is supposed to do it. none of these ships should be able to mount mining lasers imho.
lets harken back to the days of ww2 , the battleship missouri sits off the coast of calafornia shelling the nearby mountains for ore to make steel....? um no... am i the only one who thinks the game would be improved by limiting mining lasers?
i know this aint the place for it but i want to see if im crazy... send me some feedback here please. and then maybe we can get enough people to post about it so that it does get changed. that is if we determine im not nuts!!

yes, lots of good fights today .. actually i think our side was like 3 BS like 3 or 4 cruisers and me, the nut that opted to stay in his Breacher  .. coulda been 4 BS, i dont remember, but was pretty even odds .. later on me and another guy got a lil careless and kinda lost a raven to you guys though .. we shall still engage in frig/cruiser fighting as much as possible as its the most fun but like slothe said one of our enemies was in the area in BS's, and since you guys were in BS's figured what the hell and went for it
