I would like to know from experianced players when, where and whome can you legaly target and shoot. When i say legaly i mean that you will not lose sec rating and sentry guns and Concorde will not respond. When asking this on the help channel, myself and other players have had so many conflicting answers. So with all due respect please only answer this if you know for sure. I appreciate any time you take to do this.

-5 or lower security rating in empire space. Bounty DOES NOT matter. Any security rating in 0.0 space.
That's pretty much it... Except for corp wars and corp members, you can fire at them and pod them without CONCORD noticing.

--------------------------------------------- well nice to see you. oops did i just say that to a corps? ahh men they die so easy. --------------------------------------------- TOOOO BAAAAD SOOOOO SAAAAD, sucks to be you, cry me a river, bottle it, you may get somthing for it... |

hi i asked the same question in help chanel and was told that you can shoot back even if you are an outlaw. Haven't tried it yet though....
Maybe a GM can verify that this is right.

If someone attacks you and your security status is over -0.5 the sentry guns will open up on the aggressor. i.e. Your attacker. You are also within your rights to fire back if someone shoots at you without taking a security hit.
