Hello! I'm new to EVE and as such, a BUNCH of stuff in it I'm still seeing for the first time.
My question is this:
Several times when I go mining, I've noticed what could only be described as some orangey-rust colored bug/scorpion thing attached to my ship. It usually flickers but disappers when I leave the mining area. So far no other negative effects have cropped up either.
Anyone know what I might be seeing? |

and yes I have a drone on board, but it's a combat drone that looks nothing like that thing |

That's a mining drone, a drone used by miners

It's a graphic glitch that sometimes happens, when using mining drones. It's been around for years. Not common, but definitely freaky.
Not sure if happens with other kinds of drones.  |

No, it's not a glitch or a bug it's bad graphic settings on your client, so just up your stuff and the sizes will be normal.

Does this bug work with all ship sizes? Maybe this can provide some hilarity during corp mining ops.
