Interested to hear u guys oppinions about this.
Obviously the broadsword has some speed going for itself, woud a overdrive Broadsword be viable or woud you rather go with a fulltank phobos ?
Can these buggers tank doomsdays? Is it possible to omnitank them to tank all kinds of doomsdays?
I been trying to find a link to eve fitting took exe but i cant find it, i heard it has a build in function to tell u if the ship will tank doomsdays.

I'd probably go with full tank.... because supercaps don't fly alone.

Edited by: InnerDrive on 15/12/2007 12:16:40 i went on sisi and check out how much hp a broadsword woud have with a omnitankfit.
with 2 large T2 extenders and 2 x tech 1 invuls (ye i have no skills to use T2s hehe), i had like 83% resistance lowest, im not sure how much this is with T2 invuls and compensation skills trained but i imagine it to get to like 90% allmost??
90% damage reduction across the board with massive shields woud mean 70k raw damage woud be easely absorb and than some.
Im considering using 2x large shield extender II, 2x invuls , 10mn mwd II and a medium cap injector with 400s or 800s so if the supercap neutralizes you(wich he will for sure) you can suck a cap charge and continue scrambling him. Its a shame that theres no way to boost the recharge rate without badly nerfing the total hp on the shields wich will make it impossible to survive a doomsday hit so i gues i woud go with overdrives or something on the lows.

If a cap injector is providing most of your cap juice then theres no reason not to fit SPRs if you want shield recharge rate... The only mod i can think of that even affects total shield hp negatively is a shield flux coil which nobody uses anyway because a PDS will do the same job and give you a tonne of other bonuses and more effective hp...
Are you sure you play eve?

I was testing my Broadsword on SiSi when a GM flying an Avatar fired off Judgement. It took my shields to about 55%.
so, yes, a Broadsword can tank the Amarr DD device (at least) comfortably.
