So I play wow, but my friend told me there are paladins in eve now? I like to heal / do a alittle damage- can these ships do this as well? What race should I roll to fly a paladin? Are there certain abilities some races have over others?
Just looking for info thanks!
(or if there is an FAQ if you could forward me)

This is a Marauder. A T2 Battleship, designed for Missionrunners. But to answer your question directly, Ships in EVE cannot be translated in abilities a of character class of another game. You also do not need to reroll your character to fly this ship, it only takes the skills, that can be learned by any character and (a lot of) time and ISK to get this ship. If you have just started with EVE, than you are probably at least a year and a half away from flying a Paladin.

are you looking for an logistic ship?
an oneiros maybe? ... they can heal other ships (or something like that)

if you want to do a little healing and damage and stuff there are a few ships like this actually.
logtisics ships are very heal based.
but if you get into a good battleship you can fit remote reps and big guns.
some of the tier 3 battleships and other ships are great tanking and healing.
Maybe go for a heavy interdictor :) it's not the intended purpose but I think that wold work nicely.

I want to save you form mining.
do the tutrial missions the 10 step one.
you'll get 2 free frigates about 200k and lots of skill books in about 2 hours :)
