Unleashed	Posted - 2004.03.13 22:55:00 - [1] Ok, so now we know Tech3 will be Shiva and all the deployable goodies that weve seen from those pages of concept art, Titans are probably gonna be at around 4, are actual proper stations coming with Shiva? What the hell is gonna be in Tech5? If things keep getting bigger and better, I honestly cant imagine whats in store for us. Archemedes	Posted - 2004.03.13 23:19:00 - [4] As I recall, Shiva will have various anchorables like sentry guns, mobile refineries, and so on, but true player owned stations won't arrive until the next major update (Kali, I think it's called). That's probably when titans will arrive, too... Tech 5 probably is still in the early planning stages... but maybe it will include superdreadnoughts... I would LOVE to fly a Super Star Destroyer!

Carmen Priano	Posted - 2004.03.13 23:25:00 - [7] My understanding goes about as so: all of the elite ships, which are upgrades of present ships, are tech 2 -- the cruisers will be coming with Shiva, probably, and battleships a bit after that. Tech 3 is where we'll probably start seeing Titans, but that's post-Kali -- I say post-Kali, because Kali is supposed to be where we'll start seeing player-owned stations, as opposed to the outposts we'll be able to construct with Shiva -- which, if you check the deployables bit in the newsletter, were pretty bloody nifty.

R1 - Tech 1: Gemini R2 - Tech 2: Castor R3 - Shiva R4 - Kali R5 - Scorpio R6 - Capricorn Those are all the planned releases for now as far as I know... although I am sure we will see more when the time comes. Want to work for me?

digitalwanderer	Posted - 2004.03.13 23:39:00 - [10] If you train all skills currently available to their max lvl,i agree completely,but i'm completely skipping corp management,production,research and social skills of any kind,so that cuts the skills i have to learn quite dramatically... I'm essentially only bothering with skills that directly affect what you can do with your ship,that's all...

There also will be Nuclear Powered Armor Marines for use in capturing stations and Assault Shuttles to carry them into battle. Black Holes will be found to take you to a new galaxy where the baddies will be the Ewoks...
