Did I imagine it, or was it stated somewhere (officially) that Trinity would bring a scale change, making stations, capitals and super-capitals larger in comparison to regular ships? If this is the case, have the devs made any statements as to why this wasn't implemented?

Is this an entirely graphical effect with the premium client? Size of stations has real connotations for pvp and using the old client, there has been absolutely no change.

I seriously see no difference at all. I watched the trinity trailer and stations and stargates looked massive in that but there's been no change in the normal client.

In premium: The Hyperion is still slightly larger than a Thanatos The Thanatos is the same size in relation to a Nyx A Nyx is still the same size in relation to the main station in FD- on sisi.
All thats changed is that the camera seems to be zoomed in closer to the ship as you undock.

I don't think they changed it very much myself. The problem is that any size changes made in the premium client would have to be carried over into the classic client. The problem with that is that making any of those ships and stations bigger in classic would really need a readjustment of the textures so that they don't look like total ****.

They can make the stations and ships size feel bigger if they make the fine details smaller (e.g. windows) and add much more of them.
That way they dont have to increase ship model size. ----- Garr Anders

Size of stations doesn't effect PvP, size of POS's effect PvP and they've remained the same as far as I know.

This was implemented and it's a purely graphical effect. Next time you're at a station zoom out as far as you can and look how big the moon/planet your orbiting actually is compared to the station.
EvE represents relative sizes using some clever rendering tricks, which is why you cant get into low orbit around a planet, because it would completely ruin the effect. So all they're really doing is scaling up the models slightly and reducing the rate at which they appear to shrink as you move away (or grow as you move towards).
Ships require more absolute size changes, and this has also been done AFAIK (caldari BS no longer appear to be cruiser sized). This makes no effect on gameplay as ships are effectively a point in space anyway.
