Hi, Im new to the game and try my bro character before creating my own.. darn, i dont understand a thing. He said to have frigate and rare modules.. i don't have any idea where to change ship or to look at hte module. I know i should create my own character, i will, but I wanted to try this one out.

EVE isn't easy when you're new, but eventually you'll learn and it will be worth it.
First thing you should do is check around yourself, and ask questions. You can join the in game Help channel, or ask in local or corp chat.
Then I think you should start looking for a corp, you can look for recruiting corps in the EVE Corporations, Factions and Organizations HQ forum. But I suggest you look around a bit, ask questions etc to find the corp that suits you, and not just the first one you see.

You should have filed a harassment petiton, the GMs would have handled it.

Better to ask and check fansites, I don't know of any up to date guides out there.

I would suggest high sec regions, since there's more competition there. You can also check out EVE Marketplace for prices.

You can insure your ship, there are a few different levels. You'll get money for your ship based on the mineral value. Your ship also has a automatic 40% insurance, unless you pay for insurance.

I'm a newbie myself, but that seems very unusual to me. I've been in the game 2 weeks and I've encountered nothing but friendly attitudes and helpfulness in my rookie corp. From what I've seen, that approach runs throughout the game. You can do a lot to help yourself, though. Reading through the FAQ pages here, for instance, or just playing with things like the market or shipfitting pages to see how they work. Don't expect people to spoonfeed you instructions .

Edited by: ZelRox on 15/03/2004 03:29:42 Well as any game, there are always a few smacktards. Ignore them. I saw a nub in a HERON today :) A friggin heron :) I traded him a merlin i had in my hangar for it :) It was the first time i saw a heron not flown by a gurista :) ----------------------
