This game never ceases to amaze me, with its constant political drama, it seems sometimes that its a microcosm of the real world and so many analogies can be drawn with from it.
er... yeah and it has spaceships and pew pew..
anyhow it is fascinating stuff and i love you all for bringing this game world to life x

While I try to ignore any similarities to real life, since we all have enough of that crap to deal with already, alot of the same skills and qualities apply to EVE that make you successful in real life.

It's certainly better than the PVP or guild fights in WoW or Everquest.

But yes, I echo the sentiments of the OP. This is a great game, and love them or hate them, would this game really be better if Band of Brothers had never existed? Me thinks not. They add a certain drama to the universe, and they have united the galaxy in an epic struggle unparalleled in any other MMO.
