How about a 'Probe'
1. Can only be loaded into Seige Launcher do to size.
2. Has a flight time dependent on skill.
3. Can be fired into space without target (click in space).
4. Can be warped to by owner.
This would allow for more complex tactics and make standoffs less common.
Any comments welcome.

Is the purpose of this to create a safespot? If it is, it's not needed as you can make a bookmark in warp.
If there is another purpose, I fail to see it... unless you mean like a short range weapon to make it possible to attack from behind aswell or similar?

Its so that you can see what an opponent fleet has before you attack.

You'd have to come up with a different name for the probe, since "Probe" is a minmatar frigate name. Which is silly, but there you go.

If you played Home World, there was a drone for this purpouse, which you could launch to a coordinate, once in place you could get a view on it, and its surroundings not much unlike our camera view here.
The better once could be called back to the mother ship, but the cheap once would anchor them selves at the give cooridante never to return again.
It would be handy to be able to launch this "probe" to a bookmark,planet or moon within system to get a good view on.

I guess you guys haven't been in many battles. We've had many standoffs with small fleets sitting 200K from each other. The attacking fleet doesn't wanna warp to us, and we have no way of warping to them. If we had a 'Probe' we could launch in their direction and warp to them, that would make battles much more interesting.
