This weekend saw various ongoing battles between the glorious forces of MF vs what seems to be everyone else 
Kudos go out to Nighthawk, Anede and DB Preacher for battlefield chivalry, and some really cool fights.
Qtip, sorry dude, dunno if you were AFK or asleep - dock next time 
Bigfood for smacking me with a kestrel  (6666 threatened to tell the world about this so I thought I'd get it out first)
All other participants for generally being great sports.

Was wicked fun grim, as much fun as I've had in eve.
The original members of MF - yourself, 6666, azizza and s0cks are true gentlemen and great fun to have fights against. You guys know the real Reikoku because your fighting us day in, day out.
We've learned a lot this week about the potential of interceptors and to be honest they scare the fricking hell out of me with their abilities.
I've lost the most ships now to merc frigs from rkk (3 in total - 2 vigils and a scorp), so am currently the RKK whipping boy.
Note to self: sometimes piratey types don't run, so no point bringing a scorp set up to hold when you should be set up to dampen and just because you have waited for an hour to get ships set up, it's no excuse to jump in blind. Silly tactical errors get ya killed. 
Anyway, look forward to more frigging action this week. I might even go back up and collect my frig I was going to use in the RKK Frig Competition and see how it does against some real frig flyboys.

Haven''t been a MF pilot for long, but I must say the last few days were verrrrry cool, and yep our enemy''s were great sports indeed

Fully understand where you are coming from DB but unfortunately the other 90% fight us in Battleships.
Both yourself and Jericho Faction put up some interesting frigate/interceptor fights and if we could guarantee that there wasn't 5 Battleships at every startgate I would only leave the station in a frigate ..... but that simply isn't the case.
Even when we have numerous Battleships in service we are still and constantly out-gunned 3-4 to 1, which is rather sad.
I'm only flying this character for Battleship support as my main "original" Mercenary Frigate character can only fly a frigate.

Half the fun for me is evading the battleship campers, c r a c king through a camped gate @ 2.5K per sec wondering if they are awake enough to get a lock and smack you gets me buzzing 
Must be a bummer to camp a gate for an hour just to have your prey whip through you. Also great when you manage to get a single BS to peel away from the pack and have a go back (see the latest MF video of United Eve Legion Apoc getting some)
Sure a couple of good hits from a BS and you're history in a frig, but there's no real skill in killing frigs with battleships. It amuses me that people will actually camp for frigates for hours at a time in 'em.
If you wanna play (exciting) PvP, go sign up in Litiura and have a hoot.

I hear ya three,
I have never complained about you guys using other ships, because I simply believe you have to use whatever tactics you can to win. It would be pointless being mercs otherwise. I think our corps are more alike than either of us would like to admit ;)
Anyway, I second that call from Grimster... If you wanna play (exciting) PvP, go sign up in Litiura and have a hoot.

tons of fun! .. me personally i dont really like flying anything bigger than a cruiser cept for mining, and 99.9% of the time i'll be in some sort of a frigate when we are fighting as honestly its gotta be the most fun thing to do .. even in the larger fleet battles with BS's, i get a kick out of flyin full speed strait at the enemy fleet to try to snag somebody and at the same time trying not to get 1-shot by a BS  .. up till couple weeks ago, i didnt do much but build or mine, and this has really made the game alot of fun again

everyone should tip their hats to mf. they're playing eve the old fashioned way. the frigate way. i had a chance to fly with them one day and man that **** was a blast. soon as i get tired of dealing with m0o i'm sure i'll holler at u guys

Unrelated but... OMG! I have that pirat flag in your logo hanging on my wall! That alone makes you guys cool!
PS: Being mostly a miner with crap combat skills myself if you guys could post a little on tactics I'd appreatiate it. I'm trying to shift over to some combat skills myself.

Drop your foul mining practice for a month or two and come be a fighter. Your cans will still be there when you've finished

Hmmm, Maybe I'll consider a leave of adsence from Setenta to do a stint with you guys. If you willint to train me in PVP. I'd make good bait if nothing else. :)
