Is it possible to have the new Eve icon (the big high quality one we have in Vista) for our Linux dekstops?
I currently get the old one on the official wrapped client and its fugly in comparison!
Searched around and haven't found anything.

The cool icon might be part of the premium graphics. You can probably download it, unarchive it and find the png/svg that's used as the icon and from there copy it and use it.

I have found that the icon is in the exe, sadly the program i have to extract icons form an exe files only gives me a low quality icon.
Maybe someone knows better ;)

You'll need to use Resource Hacker, found here (yes, it works fine under Wine): http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/
Use that to open the Eve EXE file, choose whatever icon you want, and save Icon resources to an ICO file. Depending on your desktop environment, to use the icon in menus and the like, you may need to open it up in The Gimp, crop it, and save it as a PNG w/ transparency.

Is 32x32@32 icon the best-quality inside eve.exe? Cuz this one is the only that extracts...

Icon itself
No, looks like the best quality one is the icon in the Icon/12 folder. When you select it, you have to select "Action" -> "Save [ Icon : 12 :1039 ]", clicking "Save [ Icon ] Resources" saves as a something other than an .ICO file.
