Hey all, I was just downloading the most recent patch today before I logged on and I got this message:
The file was downloaded but it failed verification indicating that the file was corrupt. Would you like to download the file again?
Any ideas on why this may be? Any thoughs on how to fix it? I wanna play my EVE

yer happened to me every time i tried to d/load the patch though the client...
anyway just go here: http://www.eve-online.com/patches/patches.asp and d/load the patch you need.

Same problem on multiple clients/computers.
New patch notes should read:
boot.ini protected by not allowing patch to install in the first place.

Autoupdate failed for me, but manually downloading and installing premium patch from http://www.eve-online.com/patches/patches.asp?s=&system=win&edition=premium&n=45017 worked for me.

Thanks everybody, for such speedy replies, I;m about to go to the patch page and download it manually, but I won't lose my boot.ini file will I?

I also got the Error. Tried 4 times, but i have EVE installed twice on my PC. I found it worked fine when only patching one at a time. Couldnt download/patch both at same time.

I'm getting the same, but evemon is reporting there are 0 players on the server, which would suggest they haven't finished patching for some reason, i dunno, are people on it? lol

I just manually downloaded the patch and it went through fine. Thanks for the help everyone

I tried ingame patching and it was that slow i tried getting the dl from the eve website which turned out to be really slow 2.5 kps. Left the pc running and an hour later i got conenction to server was reset. So tried to dl it from ingame and agian it was realling slow an hour or so later the patch is now corrupted.
Does anyone know of any other places I can dl the patch other than in game or from http://www.eve-online.com/patches/

I downloaded patch fast but after running it said that the client went corrupt and made me download full client.
